Imagine waking up on the day after your birthday. The excitement of opening gifts and blowing out birthday candles is gone. You get that feeling that says "Wow! I'm one year older now, but I don't feel any different!" When that feeling itself is something different.

The day after your birthday marks an important day. The day that you can say "I'm [insert age here]!" When that sentence is special but it's not a special day.

But what if you wake up that day, and it turns out to be a special day? What if a package waits at the foot of your bed? Imagine an ideal birthday when you got everything you wanted, and still, your life is so perfect that you have yet another package waiting for you the next day.

This sounds like the perfect happily ever after story with no plot at all. I wouldn't blame you if you threw this book away right now. Who wants to read about some spoilt brat who gets everything she wants? But if you're still reading, let me tell you that this is a different type of story. If you're reading this, chances are that you live a life that's a lot like mine. You are well-nourished, you have a roof over your head, you have a place to go home to every night, and you are loved.

But the problem with human nature is that we always want more. This is a story about getting everything that is wanted, getting more, and still not having enough.
