Chapter 1
Jess never was the romantic type of guy, he was just as oblivious as any other run-of-the-mill guys out there, but that's just it, he isn't, he's special.
He was starting school in a week and didn't know if anything could ruin his hype, he was surprisingly excited to be starting a new school in a new state after his parents got divorced he was unwillingly forced to move from his home and all his friends in Texas to California. He didn't know anything else he had never even been out of the state on vacation and now moving to a completely different state and not having his friends around could potentially break him but he was making his best efforts to not let it get to him. "I know you said this had to happen for the best of us but I'm just scared" Jess tells his mom. "Honey, I'm sorry that we had to do this, you don't know how much it means to me that you're taking it so good, don't be scared trust me, a great kid like you is going to make all sorts of new friends."
"Oh, well look at the new freshman isn't he cute" Katlyn says, "I know right but he is totes on my team, look at how he walks he must be a Mo" Cody replies. "Over here fresh meat!" Cody screams to Jess. The look in Jess's eyes when someone wanted to talk to him, and not just anybody seniors. Jess attempts to speak "Hi, I'm J-", "Jess I know, I'm in student government, it's kind of my job to know all new students at Lincoln" Cody tells Jess. There was something that Jess couldn't pin point on Cody but he was definitely intrigued.
"Ok so look, Katlyn here thinks your straight can you please prove her wrong and tell us you're a Mo?" Cody asks. "Well actually I'm kind of in the middle with it all, I-I uhm haven't really been with anyone b-but I'm open to trying anything, I mean were in high school who ever thinks otherwise is missing out on life, right? So to answer your question I can't tell her I'm straight but I can't tell her I'm a Mo either, Sorry"
