Chapter 3: What just happened?????

Ashton’s POV

            The rest of the day passed agonizingly slow but at least I got to stare at Luke’s cute little thinking face the rest of the day. I wonder what he’s so worked up about. I hope he’s happy about me coming over. Oh gods, I hope I didn’t creep him out knowing where he lived. Frack, what if I blew my chance?

            Calm down, Ash have faith that he’ll love you. Maybe he’s spent all day worrying about what he could do to get you to like him when you come over? Think positive.

            Okay positive maybe Luke does like me. I started walking towards my car. I quickly got in and drove home in record time. I ran up to my room throwing open my closet doors. I pulled out one of my band tees and picked some nice black skinny jeans and some black converses. Gods I hope I look perfect.

            I put on the new clothes quickly and messed up my hair a little so it covered my ears making sure my tail was neatly tied up under my shirt. I checked the mirror again and left walking quickly to Luke’s house. For Luke I was always quick to do anything even if he didn’t know I did it.

            I stood in front of his door paralyzed. I’d barely touched the door when he’d pulled it open shirtless with messy hair. He’d just been in the middle of changing I could tell. Through his messy hair I spotted them. Light brown ears. I smiled so widely.

            “Ash, you okay?” Luke asked I smiled again.

            “Yes I am especially now. Luke please tell me I’m not hallucinating you do have ears?” I said smiling. He looked down ashamedly and nodded.

            “OH THANK THE GODS THIS IS AMAZING!” I squealed letting my ears perk up excitedly sadly I was so excited my tail slipped out.

            He looked at me confused then noticed my hybrid parts and looked shocked.

            “You’re a hybrid?” He asked tentatively.

            “Yes I am a cat hybrid in fact. I’m so happy you’re a hybrid that means that I won’t have to taint the pure blood line to be…” I stopped before I said everything.

            “To be what, Ash? Um never mind Ash I have something I need to tell you…” He started.

            “I really like you,” We both said in unison. I was afraid he’d tell me he hated me before I got that out but he liked me too? Oh My Gods Luke Hemmings likes me back!

            “Luke, do you mean that?” I asked excitedly.

            “Y-yes do you?” He said shyly. I smiled nodding not trusting my voice. I pulled him into a hug and he awkwardly hugged me back.

            I looked up at him and quickly kissed him. He hesitantly kissed me back. This was a million times better than I’d ever imagined. The butterflies in my stomach were in frenzy. My mind was all over the place and spinning. But what registered most were the sparks and the electricity running through my body. His tongue licked my bottom lip begging for entrance I quickly gave. It felt so right as our tongues danced I couldn’t help a moan. We finished the kiss and I pulled back blushing and so was Luke. He looked me over, this was a different Luke, and old shy Luke was gone. He looked at my tail and turned for a second pulling out what looked like a tail. He had a tail too! Awww.

            “Luke what does this you know make us?” I asked shyly all my confidence gone. He smirked kissing me again and then smiling afterwards.

            “I was hoping this makes us well boyfriends or at least friends with benefits,” He said a bit shyly but nothing like he’d always been.

            “Boyfriends Lukey! Well um at least if um Luke will you please please be my boyfriend?” I said nervously biting my lip.

            “Yes, Ashton! You’ve no idea how long I’ve waited to hear you ask that but I was scared when you found out what I was you wouldn’t want me.” He said truthfully. I smiled. We ended up spending 3 hours talking before I headed home.

             My mum wasn’t home yet so I went up to my room smiling dreamily. I fell onto my bed thinking What just happened????
