He had been hidden in the shadows of his vehicle for what seemed like forever. Hours had passed by the time he spotted his target.
Creeping out of a building that was known to the public as abandoned, his target threw a heavy white bag into a car and sped off.
Paris carefully got out of his car and surveyed the area. He kneeled next to the entrance and and started doing his magic on the lock. With a distinct click, he pulled the door open.
He was now in a colorless hallway with lights that flickered from age. He had seen his target come from a room near the door. It didn't take long before he was in front of the entrance to the room.
He peered around the doorway to check for any remaining people. No one. Hesitantly, he walked in grasping his gun tensely in his hand.
On the walls, he could see wooden shelves piled with the same white bags that his target had taken. He had suspected that they were filled with cocaine and other drugs due to their size and the white coloration.
He inched closer, hoping to be able to tell if he was correct by having a more thorough inspection. As his fingers clasped onto one of the bags, he felt an interesting texture. Like what you feel when you lay on a waterbed.
Taking a pocket knife from his waistband, he created a small slit in the bag. Slowly, a thick red liquid oozed out. Along with it came a strong iron smell.
Blood.
"Well hello there," called a voice standing directly behind him. Paris violently spun around to see the person who owned that voice.
In front of him was a tall blonde man that seemed to be around his age. He held up his gun towards the stranger and backed away, but he only ended up pressing against the shelves.
"Who are you?" Paris questioned trying to hide the shakiness in his voice. He looked the man before him up and down. He had on a name brand business suit, which didn't add up considering they were in an abandoned building.
"The name is Lucius Angevin, and you, sir, are on my property."
