So first off this is my first story EVER to write. So please go easy on me with grammar and other things. This story is just an embarrassing but hilarious situation I had with some exaggeration. Hope you enjoy😁

Season: winter (this is an important part of the story)

Grade: 8

Hi, my name is Arie. This is a story of something that happened not too long ago, about me making a fool of myself, as usual. :)

It started off as a normal, usual day- boring. I was walking with my three friends too lunch. Let's call those friends Paige, Cat, and  Dan (female, yes I'm using dan as a female name cause I can). I was walking to lunch with them, from art which was in an outside building, so we would have to walk in the snow to get to the cafeteria. So I was walking with my friends too the lunch room and we get there and get in line to put In our numbers and get our lunch. Because none of us ate home lunches, mainly because we didn't have the time to pack it. We put in our numbers and picked out what we felt like eating that day for our lunches.

The school had apples that day, which my friend Cat was ecstatic about. She adored apples, and everyone knew. People would come and give her apples everytime they served it at lunch, it was her thing, even people she didn't know gave her apples. I always get a crack out of her reaction of when someone gives her an apple and she grabs it, hastily sticks it in her backpack, and does the sweetest smile to go along with a sincere "Thank you". As you can see, my friend group is not exactly "normal". We all have weird quirks, and apples was one of Cat's. I'll elaborate on that later.

We sat down with our lunches and as usual about five people came and gave my friend, Cat, apples.

I couldn't help but giggle at her reaction to apples, how she loved apples was adorable, If she could she would eat them every day.

I was almost finished eating, but I needed a little more ranch for my food, cause I love my condiments* sassy voice*.

I stood up hastily to avoid all contact of any kind with people I didn't know, which in this case, was everyone. I stood up, and from the water from walking in the snow to lunch. I slipped clumsly, and dramaticly, making quite a loud noise that I can't even describe.

I felt my face heating up from the embarrassment. I was completely frozen, because of the sudden fall, and damn did it hurt, my butt was numb. I felt the stiff atmosphere around me. It felt like everyone was staring and mocking me with there tallness, although judjing that i was on the floor, of course they were taller than me, but that was beside the point. I quickly flip over trying to avoid the attention of other people's intimidating gaze. It was an awkward moment where everything was at a stand still. Time literally felt like hours. It was torcher!

I hop up from my back as quickly as I can and I could hear my friends laughing hysterically, which did not help the situation. I sat down embarrassed. My friends started teasing me about the embarrassing situation.

They had one comment that even I have to admit was a little funny. They were pretty much comparing me too a beetle stuck on its back, just lying there like an idiot not being able to move, well, like a bettle on its  back, then finally rolling over. after many attempts finally rolled over at one point.

I laughed so hard that I couldn't breath, out of embarrassment, and that my friends laughs were very contagious, especially Dan's. It was a light easing feeling that felt like it wasn't actually happening, some part if me wish it didn't! All of us laughing so hard that it felt like it was echoing through the room, uncontrollably.
