Patrick's POV

I was shooting targets, but my grip on my gun got shaky when, he came. Tord walked past me, with this look on his face. It wasn't cruel. It wasn't threatening. It wasn't, angry. "Nice, Patryk." He said. He had a warm smile on his face. "What happened?" I asked. I was thinking, maybe he got a present, or he got good news, or just happy in general, which creeped me out a bit. "Recently got a girlfriend." He said, proud. To be honest, I was happy too. Now some weight was lifted off my back. You know, now he has someone to keep his mind on. I wanted someone, but I wanted, no girl. Sometimes, I just think they get in the way. I liked guys, not like that, (At least, I think so), but you know, I'm not sexist, but girls will cry over anything. Guys, they can hold back feelings, but not me. I have a soft heart, which means my feelings get hurt very easily. Tord looked to the side, a girl walked beside him. He wrapped an arm around her. I held back a cringe. This weird girl had a light pinkish-grayish hoodie, with flower patches on the left breast. She had long milk chocolate brown hair, that went down to her lower back. She wore light blue jeans, and gray boots. Her eyes were blue and green. "Patryk. This is Cat." He told me, planting a kiss on her head, she giggled. I mentally vomited. "If you'll excuse me, I'll be in the bathroom." I said running to it. I looked at myself in the mirror. He wouldn't want me. I'm gay, he's not. I stared at my reflection, for a bit. I closed my eyes, and sighed. I heard someone come into the bathroom. Paul. I waved at him. He smiled a bit, and waved back. Blush spread across my face. He looked at me, and smiled a bit bigger this time. But then dropped it immediately. He lit up his cigarette, and inhaled with a small cough. Smoke filled the room, even above the stalls. I coughed a lot. He looked at me with a concerned look. He put out the cigarette, and opened a window. He ran to me. "You ok?" He asked me. I felt my heart pound and blush spread across my face when he put a hand on my shoulder. I coughed a bit, and nodded. He hugged me. "Sorry." He said, in his voice that always melted my heart. I smiled and hugged him back. He let me go. I looked at his bandage. The memory one how he got it, stabbed my heart. I got over it. He walked away, and grabbed his gun. "I gotta go. Tord wants me in about 5 minutes." He said, looking at his watch. I watched him walk out, as my heart sank. When he closed the door, I slid down the wall, and hugged my knees as I buried my face in. Small tears went down my face. I stopped, and realized he was needed by Tord, not just leaving me, I hope. But, I couldn't handle not being around him. He came back after what seemed like forever. "I'll be honest. He has a weird girlfriend." Paul said. I nodded in agreement. We started laughing. He helped me up. "Why were you on the floor?"  He asked me. "Oh, uh." I didn't know what to say. "I, uh." I started getting shaky. I looked down. "You'll laugh." I said, lean in against the counter with sinks. "I wouldn't, no. If it was something serious, I would never." Paul told me. I looked up. "You left me, and you were gone for quite a while, I thought you just used that as an excuse get away from me. Especially since I'm the one who's called annoying." I said looking back down, closing my eyes. He put a hand on my shoulder, I slightly tensed. I looked up at him. He was wearing a warm smile on his face. "Come on, Patryk. You know I wouldn't try to avoid you. You're a very good friend of mine, and you listen to me when I talk. No one else does that, but I'm happy it's you." Paul explained to me. I hugged him, but immediately regretted it when he seemed, uncomfortable.
