She never changes

She fainted. Maybe because of fright or trauma of  witnessing a murder or terrified of being caught by the criminals.

I put aside her big backpack and wore it and carried her bride-style .

I'm walking towards my house who isn't that far away here she is still light like a feather . I guess she isn't getting fat albeit she is eating so much food especially beef.

As I reach my house I immediately lay her in my bed and put all her things down.  I stared at her and she's sleeping so peacefully  .

I stared at her face and gently brushing her hair with my hands .

She is still that innocent little girl I once used to know

that little girl who taught me what happiness and fun means

that little girl who gives colors in my life

that little girl who is my princess

I'm glad that I see her again but not here it's too dangerous for her to be here.

"Princess" I mumbled

Please be safe. And darkness took me in and drove me too sleep.

[Next Day]

I woke up feeling uncomfortable with my position . I'm wandering why I'm sleeping in a sitting position and the answer is right in front of me. I now remember what happened last night .

My little princess is here with me. I smiled but it turned into worriedness as I remember what kind of place is here. Why are you here my princess? It's too dangerous for you .

I stand up and fix myself, I'm planning to make breakfast.

--

When I'm finished preparing our breakfast, I go to my room and find her already awoke.

"Oh, you already wake up!" I said I can see she's startled with my sudden presence she turn around to face me

"Who are you?" she asked. I'm sad I know she won't remeber me . She still that girl. She never changes

"You don't need to know princess , it is dangerous"

"Why Am I here?"

" I brought you here"

"How?"

" Don't ask anymore question princess, I cook breakfast for us just follow me on the dining if you're ready" I said ignoring her question and proceed to the dining.
