Part 27

-Jason's POV-

y/n had to go to the bathroom and when someone came up to me and kissed me I thought it was y/n so I kissed back, but it wasn't y/n which I didn't find out until she saw Rebecca kissing me. I tried to talk to her but she wouldn't let me so I went home.

-the next day-

Jason: y/n please let me talk to you.
Y/n: Jason, I really need to go home and be alone for a while ok, just leave me alone.
Jason: y/n please.

I cried

y/n: good bye.

She left.

-Joe's POV-

Joe: you know what you did was messed up.
Jason: it's not my fault, Rebecca came up and kissed me, I thought it was y/n.
Joe: sure you did.
Jason: I'm telling the truth!
Joe: but you hurt her Jason. You really hurt her. Jason: dude I know that but she won't let me explain.
Joe: just give her some time.

-3 days after the dance-

Jason and y/n hadn't talked much then they officially broke up.

-1 month later-

Jason stayed home from school so y/n and I walked together.

Joe: I didn't think things would drag out for this long.
Y/n: yeah well I tried to let him talk to me last month but he somehow hurt me even more.
Joe: I'm sorry y/n.
Y/n: don't be, maybe I should have waited to choose between the two of you or just not chosen and stayed friends.
Joe: well if your going there then you should know that I was going to ask you out that morning I made pancakes but Jason came out at the right moment to mess it up because I didn't want to do it in front of him.
Y/n: oh, wow.
Joe: yeah.

We made it to the school and there was still some time before class started so we continued to talk.

-skip school-

after school we walked back home together.

Joe: come with me, I want to show you something. Y/n: where are we going Joe?
Joe: it's a surprise.

We walked through some trails and went off the trail a little to a lake that was frozen over.

Y/n: why take me to a lake when we can't swim in it? Joe: for the view.
Y/n: I guess there is a nice view.
Joe: exactly.
Y/n: so now what?
Joe: we sit and talk I guess.
Y/n: ok.

We sat down at talked for a while. I couldn't keep my feelings away anymore, I still love her like I did the day we met, but I'm scared to say something.

Joe: y/n?
Y/n: yeah?
Joe: there's something I need to tell you....
