Sonic and Shadow decided to race one saturday morning. Both of them went to an abandoned trail. When they got there, Sonic and Shadow prepared for the race.
Sonic: "I'm going to win Shad!" Sonic mocked.
Shadow: "Not so fast Faker.." Shadow replied angrily.
The race then began. Shadow and Sonic were running at the same rate/speed. A couple minutes later, they crossed what they called the "Finish Line" built by old tires and a string. They both tied. Shadow got irritated and sighed angrily, Sonic just smirked and brushed himself off.
While they were walking back, Sonic tripped and fell on top of Shadow, connecting their lips together. Sonic quickly reacted, jumping back onto his feet and non-stop apologizing to Shadow.
Sonic: "I'm very sorry Shadow! I didn't mean to fall on top of you and ki-" Shadow cut Sonic off.
Shadow: "It's fine...." Shadow then ran off as quickly as he could.
SONIC'S POV
What is this feeling....? My heart is beating very hard... I can't stop sweating, someone help me.... I think I have a stronger connection with Shadow.
Sonic: "WHAT AM I SAYING?" blurted out Sonic.
Oh shoot, someone might hear me, I need to be quiet. It's time to go home.
NARRATOR POV
And with that, Sonic ran home. When he was fully inside, he ran upstairs into his bedroom, stuffing his face into his pillow. Sonic was still thinking about what happened back at the trail. Maybe Shadow won't forgive him? Sonic started worrying what Shadow would do since tomorrow they had to do a project together. Without thinking about anything else, Sonic fell asleep.
SHADOW'S POV
Ugh... Why did I like Sonic's kiss? I'm a damn guy and he's a damn guy... Shit I forgot we had a project to do tomorrow! What will Sonic say.... Maybe he thinks I will hate him? Oh who the hell knows, it's time to go to bed anyways.
NARRATOR POV
In Sonic's dream, Shadow was proposing to him. (Sonic and Shadow lived in the same apartment complex, and they were neighbors.) Sonic woke up screaming then falling onto the wooden floor. Shadow heard his scream and ran to his door. He knocked and Sonic opened the door, to his surprise seeing Shadow.
Sonic: "Sh-Shadow? What are you doing here? It's 2 A.M."
Shadow: "I heard you scream. I wanted to see if everything's alright."
Sonic: "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for checking on me."
Shadow: "Alright. Go back to bed cuz' we need to wake up at 6."
Sonic: "Okay! Seeya Shads!"
Shadow went back to his room and back to bed, Sonic did the same. At 5:55 A.M. Sonic woke up and began to get ready for the day. Finally not thinking about Shadow, Sonic got everything ready by 6, when Shadow came over.
Sonic: "Heya Shads! Sorry my room isn't clean."
Shadow: "It's better than mine. Anyways, let's get started."
Sonic: "Good idea."
Without being said, Sonic and Shadow began working on the project. They were supposed to build their small city they lived in and add more details to it. A couple hours later, they were very close to being done when someone knocked on the door. It was Amy.
Sonic: "Amy? What are you doing here?"
Amy: "I wanted to see if you needed help with your project! Tails and I already finished ours, so I decided to help you."
Sonic: "That's very nice of you, but Shadow is helping me remember? We got partnered up at the group lesson."
Amy: "Oh right... Well can I atleast rest in your place? My room is getting adjustments since my hammer fell and cracked the whole room."
Sonic: "Sure, just try not to bother us."
Amy: "Will do! Thanks Sonic!"
Sonic went back to Shadow who was waiting impatiently. They resumed their work while Amy sat on the couch and watched TV with the volume lowered.
Sonic and Shadow finally finished their project and relaxed. The relaxation ended when Shadow asked Sonic a question about what happened yesterday.
