Two-Bit's Sister

Chapter 21

Adrianna's POV:

Me, Ponyboy and Soda walk into the house laughing at the two boys fighting over the cake. We get into the house and they're still arguing about who is gonna get the cake.

"Two-Bit hand over the cake, it's mine" Steve said.

"Nah Steve, this is my cake and you're not getting any of it, so back off!" Two-Bit argued back.

I knew there was only going to be one way to settle this, so when Two least expected it I went over and grabbed the cake from him and placed it on the table. "Alright, so either you can both take a piece of the cake and share it or neither of you get any." While I was saying this to the two boys, Steve and Two were looking sad at first, and Soda and Pony were in the corner trying to hold in their laughs.

"Fine we will share" They both agreed.

However, just as they were about to get some cake Darry walked into the house and said "Alright, it's time for dinner! I brought some food back from the Diner, so you five better get over here and start eating." Therefore, neither Two or Steve were gettting any cake until after dinner, and we all hurried over to start eating some food before Steve and Two-Bit was able to eat it all.

*A Couple of Hours Later*

The rest of the gang except for Johnny's sister is here, so we decided that since we're rarely all together at once we should have a movie night. So, that's exactly what we did. Surprisingly, us girls were able to convince the boys to watch Footloose. I actually love this movie. Looking around the room makes me realize how quickly the other girls were able to fit into the group. Gady's on Darry's lap in his chair, Maria and Johnny are cuddled together on the floor next to Ponyboy and Maya, with Two-Bit and Arizona on the other side. Then, there's Lyric on Dally's lap, in between Katie on Steve's lap cuddled into him, and me on Soda's lap. I know most of the boys have made it official with the girls, well except for Maya and Ponyboy who are still not dating yet, they've been close all while she's been here and they spend a lot of time together. Suddenly, from the corner of my eye I see Pony and Maya sneaking outside, luckily for them none of the guys have noticed or they'd tease them.

Ponyboy's POV:

I've been waiting for the longest time, for the right time to ask Maya to be my girlfriend, maybe i'll ask her now, not in here though.

"Hey Maya, wanna head outside for a minute with me?" I whispered to her.

"Yeah sure, let's go"

I'm so nervous right now, but it's now or never.

Maya's POV:

I'm heading outside with Pony, he looks nervous but maybe i'm wrong. I really like him but i doubt he likes me back. He's like my best friend here.
"Hey Maya, can I tell you something?" He asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"Uh yeah. What's up?"

"So, I know that we're good friends, and I\, not trying to make anything awkward by saying this but I feel like I should tell you, that I really like you, more than friends and I have for a while now."

"Oh wow, Pony, I really like you too"

"Well, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes of course!" I said with a huge smile on my face, then he leaned it and we kissed. We then decided that we should sneak back in to watch the rest of the movie, before the gang was able to notice that we were gone. I can't explain how happy I am, i'm finally Ponyboy's girlfriend.
