Chapter 6

Soobin's POV

*toot toot--*

I turned off the alarm next to my bed. It read 8 am..

It's already morning huh.. It's Saturday.. I don't have school.

I rubbed my eyes and let out a yawn.. It's surprisingly comfortable here.. Usually, i don't sleep easily when i'm not in my own room.. It's nice.

I forgot to unpack my things.. Maybe i'll do that in the afternoon. I'm too lazy to do anything right now.

I grabbed my towel and made my way to the bathroom.

"Hey, good morning." Brother greeted "mornin'"

"Sit down." He commanded. So i did.

"I hope you like eggs."

"It's okay" i simply said and thanked him for the food before digging in

"How was your sleep?"

"It's fine.. "

He hummed and continued eating. I noticed that there was another plate on the table. Is there anyone else here beside us?
I don't really want to ask about that so i just shut my mouth. It's not really my business so i shouldn't be nosy

I also noticed that he was wearing a suit

"Are you going out?"
I asked.

"Yeah, i need you to look after the house while i'm gone."
He smiled and went upstairs, holding the plate with foods

What's that for..?

'It's none of your business, soobin'

I said to myself and continued eating.

"Take care.."  I mumbled and wait for him to close the door.

As soon as i heard the door clicked, i quickly ran upstairs and stared at my brother's bedroom door.

It's okay right..? I mean.. It won't take long. I'll just take a peek..

What if someone is inside there?
What if brother kidnapped  someone and I'm the only one who can save that person?

I took a really deep breath and twisted the door knob, slowly opening it..

"There's nothing here..?"

But where did big brother placed the food he brought here?

That's weird

I was about to step outside the room when i heard creak noise inside the wooden cabinet..

Slowly, i made my way towards that weird sound

It's probably just a rat..?

Or what if it's a ghost..?

But just a little peek won't hurt, right?

"OPEN!!" I shouted at the top of my lung at the same time, opening the cabinet as fast as i could.

"AHHHHHH---"

"AHHHHHHH WHAT---"

"So... That's basically what happened" he sighed

"I see.."

I still don't understand how did he became a hybrid.. I don't really want to know.. I'm not into furry things so..

"I mean.. What's the point of hiding when i'm gonna live here for a year.. Lol that'll be hard for you" i chuckles and he just nodded as a response
