Mekayla's PoV

I wake up to crying noises.

"ugh ill get her" I says sleepily crawling out of my bed.

recently rye and I have been staying at my house so we have a spare room for esme and when we have to go my mother can babysit. All of the boys and soph including blair have fallen completely inlove with little esme and they all call themselves her auntie and uncles. they even have a box full of her toys and stuff for when we come over.

"shhh baby its okay" I say gently picking her up and rocking her side to side as her breathing and crying slows down. I swear I cant have one night of just sleep.

"its okay baby I got her" rye says coming up behind me.

"no its- its fine" I yawn. "babe you haven't had any sleep recently, let me take her" he insists.

"okay but only for an hour, you better wake me up" I say bossily.

" I will " he playfully rolls his eyes and kisses me before insisting I leave the room and head back to bed.

I climb back into bed when I hear rye and esme on the baby monitor.

"hey its okay princess, daddy wont let anything hurt you..." he starts.

my heart melts. hes so cute.

"I love you very much esme, I may not be here very often because of touring but no matter where I am, you and your mummy are all I think about, we have 1 million people supporting daddies band who adore you, so that makes them your fans aswell. you know that you auntie and uncles all love you very much aswell... I know your only 4 months old and you cant comprehend anything im saying right now but I mean every word" after that tears begin to form in my eyes.

"mummy and daddy have known eachother since we was your age... we have always been bestfriends... until I fell inlove with her. but then I turned into a dickhead but that's another story for another time" I laugh slightly.

all of a sudden I hear a soft giggle.

"oh my god" I hear rye say in an excited tone.

"oh my god" I whisper.

...... her first laugh.
