Uncle Richard Passes Away

Naina is in Canada as the doctor told her that he is in hospital after having a major car accident, once she steps out of the private jet, she arrives there very quickly. The doctor is waiting for her.

Naina: Doctor what has happened.

Doctor: Your uncle had a huge car accident, I need you to sign this form, and deposit the money in so that we can start his operation.

Naina signs it, goes to the bank, and gives the money to the adminstrator so that the operation can start. She sits down thinking about all the good times she has had with him. Naina starts to pray.

Naina: Dear lord, please save my uncle, he is my only family which I have, and I can't live without him please. Make him better, because he does not deserve this, no one does.

After two hours, the doctor comes out, she stands up, and tells her the worst news which shocks her to the core...

Doctor: He has very little time, you should talk to him for the last time before it's too late.

She goes inside, sits besides him, and holds his hand. He looks at her, and Naina begins to cry...

Naina: Uncle please don't go, I won't have anyone to call my own.

UR: Naina we all have to go away one day, and trust me this is what god wanted in my destiny. I know your a very strong girl, and now it's your turn to handle the bussiness. I love you very much, and I will always be in your heart.

Naina checks the monitor, it has become flatline, and he is declared dead. She closes his eyes, and starts crying loudly. She starts to shake him.

Naina: Uncle you can't leave me and go. You were suppose to see me graduate, and my marriage. No this can't happen, I don't have anyone now.

Naina calls dad, he pick up immediately and all he can her hear is her painful sobs, he instantly knows what has happened...

Naina: Papa...uncle....Richard...is...no...more. I don't know what to do, and where to go now, he told me that I have to handle the bussiness, that means I can't come back.

Dad: I know what your going through Naina, but you need to complete your uncle's dream, and make us all proud. It's a very difficult phase for you. Just do what your heart tells you to do, and I promise I won't tell anyone about this until the time is right.

One Week Later...

Sophia is dressed in black, and is talking about her uncle which she has seen for only some time now, she becomes very emotional...

Sophia: Uncle it has only been some time when I got to see you, you are my advisor, my mentor, a friend that I could share my problems, and an ideal father. He always used to say. Dear never give up on life, it may be complicated, but you will always win in the end. I am very proud to call you my Richard Uncle, you will, are and always will be the best for me.

There is a minute silence for Uncle Richard as a means of respect and reflection. The priest comes in front, and says a verse from the bible.

Priest: Let us commend Richard to the mercy of god, our maker and redeemer.

The coffin is lifted up, after a few minutes it is lowered into the grave...

Priest: We therefore commit Richard's body to the ground, earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, in the sure and certain hope of the ressurection to eternal life.

It is covered up with the earth, and a tombstone is placed on when he was born, and the day that he passed away. Sophia keeps a few flowers on his grave, and walks away from there. As soon as she reaches home, she becomes numb, and does not know how to react.

Sophia: Ab mein kya karoongi, muhjhe bussiness ko sambalna nahi aata hai.

There is a knock at the door, she opens it only to see Uncle Richard's secartary Robert standing there, he has come with a lawyer. They all sit down, he hands Sophia the power of attronoty to her. She reads it all, and signs it giving it back to him.

Lawyer: Now the bussiness is handed to you legally. Robert will show you what to do when you come into the company, but you need your space for now.

Sophia: I don't need any space, I'm fine. I want to follow into the family bussiness, and get a sense of how my parents uncle of how they used to work. I need to complete this, and bring the company to new heights now. I'll be coming in tommorow morning to start it off.

Robert: Are you sure Sophia ma'am?

Sophia: I'm damn ready for it.
