Jungkook wouldn't ever guess what would've happened when he finally got out of his last relationship, but you could say he regrets it, on the other hand, he genuinely wanted to get out of that relationship.
The only thing he doesn't regret is his new lover Yugeom. They really loved each other, but because of Yugeom's homophobic parents, they lived together and went to college together. Jungkook's parents weren't there to judge them, as they died in a car crash when he was fifteen. He was with his uncle, who was an alcoholic.
During that period, he was forced to go into a relationship with a certain individual, Kim Taehyung. The affair lasted for three years, and if you asked Jungkook, it was the darkest three years of his entire life.
When he turned eighteen, he left the house and got a loan to go to college and for a dorm. That's how they met, they shared a dorm together. Thereafter, they soon got feelings for one other.
