Rain POV
The laser was almost finished, all we needed was a test run. Strangely, Faith had been helpful and offered some scientific advice. I had thought that this could be fake help but it looked like it was working so I ignored it. Nina walked over to me, I could see her trying to probe into my head, probably wanted to know if I still needed her. I did't, but it was fun to toy with her.
"We are ready for the test run, we just need your blood" She has a needle in her left hand but her hand was shaking. She was scared.
"Scared, Nina?" She shakes her head at my question, but her wide eyes give her away. I laugh and lift her off the ground, pushing a tornado grade wind under her feet. She screams as I lift her to the ceiling and drop her a few feet, catching her just before she hit the floor.
"You should be" I say with a menacing tone. A loud crash from the front door causes the whole lab to turn. There stood a large black woman who was doubled over and breathing heavily.
"What is the meaning of this?"I shout, anger flaring in my voice. The woman holds up her hand as she straightens up.
"I'm sorry, but whatever you are doing, you can't" Her voice has a hint of a Jamaican in it.
"Oh really, you are going to stop me how?"I laugh at her, openly mocking her. She gives me a knowing look, which confuses me. Then everybody except Nina and myself just collapses. I feel a burrowing deep in my mind which I kick out, it was given me a headache. Nina was battling hard, her body convulsed as her mind fought the intruder.
"That the best you got?"I laugh as I fire a beam of pure darkness shoots towards her, the woman ducked. Suddenly one of the lab technicians woke up and started walking over to me, he grabs me and holds me in an iron grip. I shake angrily, annoyed at this turn of events. I see a pink mist and the man is replaced by Super Luv Shane Dawson. He holds my shoulders hard as I try to shake him off.
