Rosielia's head was screaming with excitement- This was the kind of thing that always happened at the beginning of her favorite books! She didn't know what side the cat was on, so she asked the simplest questions. "Who are you, and where am I?" " I am Ave, commander of the forest, and you are in Terrapede." the Cat replied in a calm, almost soothing voice. Rosielia knew at once, although she didn't know how that this mysterious cat was genuine. "Hello, I'm Rosielia," she replied. "I know." replied Ave, "I brought you here for a reason." "but first, follow me." Rosielia followed, unsure of where they were going, but confident of the importance. Neither one said a word as they walked for a couple of minutes through the dense woods, dodging branches often. They soon arrived at what looked like a huge army camp. Rosielia followed Ave into a spacious tent with a long table, a small map on it, a clay lamp beside it, and a big bucket of cloth in the corner. Ave poked her head outside the tent and talked to someone whom Rosielia didn't see the face of. Seconds later, two more creatures flew in through the flap and landed on the other side of the table across from her. "Hello, Rosielia, I am Devlyn." said the cat on the left. Devlyn was a silver cat with big silver wings and green eyes. "And I'm Avner." said the second cat who then glared at Devlyn as if he wanted to speak first. Avner was an orange cat with a yellow left eye and a red right eye, he had small, fluffy wings and a short tail. Ave joined the conversation by saying "These are my co-commanders, Avner, Devlyn, can we show her now?" Rosielia started, "Show me what?" Devlyn started a flame on the candle in the lamp using flint then Ave added powder from an unknown place to the flame. Shapes began forming. Ave started to explain, "We brought you here for a reason, we need your help to rid our land of an evil that has been terrorizing our home for years." Avner cut in-" The tigers!" "Um, yes" Ave continued, "twenty years ago, the tigers attacked our only city, Occulus, thus controlling it and the land." As she said this, the fire pictured an army of tigers storming a city, burning buildings, and taking prisoners. "My parents formed this army and recruited friends to join them and run away hoping that we would learn to defend ourselves and one day attack." the fire swirled into several cats running into the woods. Ave continued, "Even with our numbers, we cannot defeat the tigers who have more power. Because, if we did try, we would not only lose the battle and the war, we would lose the lives of many valiant warriors." the fire faded back into a steady flame again. "So, I went to Morkashaz, the wizard and asked what I must do. He gave me a crystal necklace and told me that if I could find someone with eyes that matched the color of the jewel, to bring them back here, for they were to help us." The room was silent for a few minutes while Rosielia thought about it. "Wow. But why do you need me exactly?" Devlyn replied, "That is unknown, you may have new ideas or strategies we never thought of, you may train in a new way, you may be a great archer, we do not know. What we do know is that you are here and our land is in a time of crisis." "indeed," said Ave. "Meanwhile, here." Ave handed Rosielia a necklace with one stone on it, a Light blue gem, the color of her eyes. She tried it on and then she began to float, the Jewel glowed, and she spun in the air. This only lasted about ten seconds before everything stopped and she fell to the ground. Avner began stuttering, Devlyn stood in shock, and Ave had a surprised yet satisfied look on her face. Rosielia looked at their faces, "What? Why are you looking at me like that.........
