The Knife

Lafyette
I looked at Hercules and Thomas. They both shrugged.
"Mon chérie... What's wrong?"
Angelica's voice quivered, she was trying to keep herself together.
"Peggy's dead. I need you to... Take care of her if you know what I mean-"
"Angelica... With all due respect.
Êtes-vous hors de votre esprit?! What about Eliza?"
(Are you out of your damn mind)
Angelica winced. "Fine. If you won't help, I'll do it myself. Before she turns. Goodbye, Lafyette."

I looked at Eliza. She was hanging out in the corner, sitting on the filthy linoleum floor. "Eliza--"
"Do we have to shoot her, Angie?" Eliza muttered, staring up at her with glossed over eyes. It was hard to stay happy in a place like this, so everyone defaulted to depression. "I wish we didn't. But we can't have her turn on us." Angelica explained quietly.

Eliza stood up, nodding with an audible sigh. "Fine. Just... Do it when I'm not here." Eliza said, grabbing a pistol as she headed outside before Angelica could stop her.
Angelica sighed. She was worried for her sister, she had noticed since Peggy had gotten scratched- which caused her to get a fever- it was one of the symptoms any person got before they died and turned- Eliza had gotten more reclusive and quiet. The poor girl rarely cracked a smile anymore, but then again, it's hard to stay happy when you give it your all and everything goes to shit.

Angelica grabbed a large kitchen knife. She didn't want to make a mess by shooting Peggy in the head. She squeezed her eyes shut as she brought the knife down in one quick stab- impaling Peggy in her forehead, just above the middle of her brows. Angelica winced. She took no satisfaction in stabbing her own sister but it had to be done.
