First things first, everyone who can control the Elements are called Elementals. Back when the world was still young, the dinosaurs had died just 6 million years ago, the world was still peaceful. There were the humans, and there were the Elementals. The Elementals were a peaceful race that only wanted to enjoy the planet Earth for everything that it was, using their gifts of controlling the Elements of fire, lightning, nature, air, and water. This was used only for survival, not for violence. Of course, there were a few disagreements and arguments between the leaders, but that was nothing compared to what would soon happen. The Humans saw what the Elementals could do and as all humans do, they grew envious of the Elementals. They decided they wanted their power as their own. The Humans demanded that the Elementals give them the abilities they had, after all, it would have been fair. The Elementals refused, saying that they did not have the ability to give their abilities to others, but truly, they did. The Humans soon learned of the five Elemental Stones that were the lifeline of the Elementals, and decided they should take it for their own, and give them the power they wanted so greatly. Now, when they confronted the Elementals saying that they did have a way of giving it and that they should give it to them, the Elementals refused, saying that the humans were too power-hungry, and they did not know how to appreciate the gift. The humans said that they should give them the powers, and the Elementals told the humans that they would never give them the ability to control the Elements. The humans were infuriated. They soon retaliated by killing the Air Elementals, which soon sparked the beginning of a war that left nothing behind. The humans started by taking out a large part of the Air Tribe, which was the weakest at the time because they liked to live up in the skies, as per their Element. Although, when they were on the ground, they were the most vulnerable. The Humans killed about 4,000 people of the Air Tribe. That's the ones that are on record. There were also an extra 200 missing. At first, the Elementals didn't know what was going on. Their brothers and sisters were dying left and right. Soon they figured out it was the humans causing this. The Elementals are a peaceful race, but if you attack and kill one of their own, they get quite emotional. The Elemental forces of fire, lightning, nature, and water, all retaliated to protect their air brothers and sisters who resided on the continent now known as Africa. They left the Earth scorched in their wake, every Human they saw was murdered. Every man, woman, and child were killed. The humans retaliated doing the same thing to the Elemental Tribes. It was as if the world had gone mad. Everything was in chaos. The Humans only felt wrath and rage for the death of their comrades, but the Elementals felt grief for the loss of their comrades and remorse for having to kill the humans, which before they got greedy, once lived so peacefully with. It is listed in the record books that the fire and lightning tribes had the highest kill count. They were some of the heaviest offensive forces in the war known as the Barren War because of how little was left where ever a dispute between the humans and elementals erupted. Finally, the five Elemental leaders decided enough was enough, and used the power of the Fire Stone to unlock the potential of the Fire Elementals, giving them the imitless power of the Stone of Hades. A young Fire Elemental of the age of 21 was chosen. That young mans name was Jesper Kelvin. Jesper would go on to destroy half of the remaining humans left on Earth, forcing them into a truce and to see reason, and they soon came up with a peace treaty. If the humans agreed to stop fighting and settle for the gifts that they were given, then they could have the rest of the planet, and the Elementals will get a chain of islands in the Bahamas, that no Human would ever be allowed to enter again. These islands are part of an area known as the Bermuda triangle. Its mystery is actually quite simple. The original five Elemental leaders used the last of their power to make a barrier to seal away the Elementals forever. The next part of the peace treaty was that any Human record of the Elementals would be burned and destroyed, along with the newer generations of humans to never be told about the Elementals, and their existence as we know it. Because of this, the ancient race faded into that of fairytales and Greek Mythology as everyone who knew of their existence slowly passed away and faded into the Afterlife. As the humans had their trials on the outside world, the protective barrier of the elementals helped them to live the life of peace they desired. The Air Elemental Tribe was the first thing they decided to fix. They made sure that they re-grew their population and taught how to live on the ground, mostly in case another war ever did errupt because the humans would get greedy again. There are six islands on the Island Chain which they named Elementia. The first is the Fire Island, which is where the Fire Tribe live, obviously. The second was the Lightning Island, then followed by the Nature, Air, and Water Islands. The sixth, and final, island was an island in the center, where everyone lived together. of course each Element had their own private island, but then they had the community where they would come together and seek ways to fix problems, like a Renaissance fair island. The rest of the Elemental Stones were lost during the Barren War except for the Hades Stone, which sits at the base of the Jesper Kelvin statue in the center island, protected by armed guards day and night. The young elementals knew of the war, in fact, as the humans were not allowed to tell any of their descendants about it, the elementals did quite the opposite. They taught the young ones of the danger, devastation, and death that came with war, so they would see why it was not good and they all followed the one rule that was: Don't leave the island. They knew if they did the Barren War would surely start up once again, and the Earth would remain forever scorched. So, as the Elementals lived on their islands in happiness and tranquility, they worked and helped eachother. "They all lived happily ever after," is what you would like to hear, but that is not. We are here to tell you the story of what happened. It was not all cupcakes and rainbows. In fact, the present day is where our story takes place, when something bad happens.
