Melancholy lurked in the corner
Oppressive shadows held me captive
The raven has defeated the dove
Echoes in my head were oppressive
I let out an ear-piercing scream
But no one heard my pain
And then the glass walls in me shattered
The shadows consumed me whole
I'm a mess, in a turmoil and chaos
Unseen phantom, stuck in the dark
I am sad, the stars were strewn
Now, even the constellations
Abandoned deep in the mist
My guide has disappeared
The moonlight, long gone
My moon was missing
I and the moon are twins
Both has our own darkside
I could only stare and hope
That I, too, could disappear
Alone in gloom of dark skies
Only melody beats melancholy
Tired and numb fingers
On sharp guitar strings they lingers
