Chapter 1.

"Come on Jakie! Go for the touchdown!" I shout from the stands of our school football field. I'm dating Jake Foster. The cutest guy in school, and better yet, he's the captain of the football team. "That's a touchdown for Jake Foster!" The announcer yelled over the loud speaker. "Game Over! Southeast High wins!" Everybody on my side of the stands was cheering, our school has never lost a football game since 1987. I cheered and ran onto the field and hugged Jake. When his team went into the locker room, I was walking to my car when I hear a voice. "Hey Lily." I turn around to see Harry Styles. The whole school's nerdiest boy. "Oh hi Harry." I didn't want to be rude. "How are you?" He said while pushing up his glasses. "I'm good. But I have to go home." "Ok then, bye Lily." Then he walked off. I hated the fact that Jake was never nice to him, but if I ever got caught with Harry, Jake would either break up with me or do something about Harry. When I got in my car and started it, my phone rang. "Hey Lily!" "Oh hey Jayme. What's up?" "Jake is looking for you. Did you leave already?" "I'm just about to. Tell him I have to get home before curfew." "Ok. Bye." "Bye." I got in my car and started it up and drove home. "Honey where have you been?" My mom asked me as I walked through the door. "Mom I told you earlier, I went to Jakes game." I sat down at the table and grabbed a cookie. "Whatever. I'm going to bed. Night hon." My mom walked upstairs and shut her door. I swear there is something wrong with my mother. My dad left us 4 years ago, and since then, she has been all downhill. I finished up my cookie and called Jake. "Yeah this is Jake." "Hey Jakie." "Lily. Where the hell are you?" He didn't sound good, and he never cursed at me, never. "Jake I'm at home. Why do sound all funny?" "Don't freaking worry about it. Just meet me at the 7-11 at midnight." Then he hung up. What is wrong with my boyfriend?
