POLLY
the whole day was going by fast, which was making Polly agitated. Mark one of the angels had asked her to the dance, and she was more than happy to go with him.
She sat on Alexandra's bed staring at all the beautiful dresses, but unfortunately couldn't decide which one to wear.
Alexandra had chosen an elegant red dress, that fitted her graciously. Then Polly took about an hour fixing her hair.
Who would have known human hair was much difficult to design than angels.
Polly fixed her makeup perfectly, but it seemed like part of Alexandra's mind was somewhere else.
It annoyed her.
It was making her even more curious each passing damn second. She decided to ask what was wrong in a calm but demanding voice.
Alexandra's expression changed as heat stung her cheeks. It took a while before she could regain her composure. Maybe she wasn't ready to talk about it.
"N- nothing... It's... Just that I haven't seen Ray since yesterday." She fumbled.
Polly's eyes lit up in amusement.
"His at the court... Paying penance." she said normally.
Oh.
Oh.
"What!?" Alexandra exclaimed.
"The day he left... To save you. Things happened." Polly sighed, letting her shoulders fall.
Alexandra's eyes were wide opened. Ray obviously didn't tell her what happened.
"I- I am sorry." She choked, on the verge of tears. Polly glared jerking up,
"Hey, I will kill you if you ruin that mascara. It took hours." She yelled, laughing.
Polly didn't give her the chance before embracing her like a bear. Alexandra was such a good person, she most definitely didn't deserve this.
"I won't... I swear." Alexandra giggled. "But is he hurt.... Will he be at the dance?"
"Um, probably." Uncertainly,
"Could I call you Alexy?" Polly asked.
"Of course... Alexandra seems too long anyway." She relaxed.
Polly eyes drifted to the back of her head shortly before she screamed. "OMG! It's time!"
"What? And how did you do that?" Alexy asked stunned.
"Do what?" Polly said as if I was the most common thing. "It's time! Let's hurry up now. I don't wanna keep Mark waiting." she blushed.
A little while longer, Polly was done putting the finishing touches on both of them and they were heading for the door.
Alexy stopped in her tracks sweating. Her chest felt heavy when suddenly she choked out a handful of blood.
"Wow. What's wrong!?" Polly shrieked. The concern clear in her voice.
"It's Ray." She tried to form up words with her heavy breathing. "something is wrong."
