Where to Start?

Its a fine warm sunday. Harold(orphan) and his friends are made to gather in front of the guests. Usually every sunday morning, the guardian(Andrew) visits the orphanage reads the newspaper along with the orphans and discusses about the happenings in the country. His wife, a plump woman is in conversation with the warden, who grumbles about the mischiefs done by the orphans. The wife complains to Andrew about it. He chides her that he is spending time with the kids and not to interrupt him. After finishing the newspaper, he scolds the children lightly for the sake of his wife. The kids have becomes used to seeing this every sunday. But today, some guests have come to make a donation and the kids are looking well fed and the place looks spick and span. The warden makes lemonade for the guests. the guests are from a well known foundation. They give the orphans each a bank acc of five thousand rupees which we'll later know how Harold spends. The guests ask each kid about their ambition in life one by one. A girl answers that she wants to become a "Doctor". Another guy an"engineer". Someone even says she wants to become a "Robber". There is an uproar of laughter from the guests. The plump wife stares at the girl. Well Harold guesses that the girl is doomed forever. As for Harold he wants to join the "civil service". He doesn't know the requirements nor the workings of the job. He is attracted by the seniority in the job,respect and the salary offered. His aunt who left him in the orphan is a police officer,which is also one of the reasons for him to pick that job. Here starts his pick at "ambition".
