-in the middle of Trost-

*Christa's POV*

"Where's the Vanguard!? Have they been wiped out!?" Bertholdt asked as we all looked around.

"I don't see anybody..." I replied.

"Fuck!" Reiner said.

"Quick, to the rooftops!" Marco yelled.

Everyone fired their ODMG into the rooftops to get a better look.

"Should we try to meet up with the Elites?" Connie asked.

"No, the elites have already withdrawn! We need to evacuate asked many Cadets as possible!" I answered.

"Yes Heichou!" Hannah said.

"Heichou? I like it!" Bertholdt replied.

"It suits you." I commented.

"Come on! We need to survey the area and find any surviving Cadets!" Marco urged.

"Hang on, fifteen meter class. Twelve o clock! He's all mine!" Bertholdt said as he closed in on the Titan when a gigantic fist shot out of its mouth.

"Shit!" He exclaimed as he pulled back.

"What on earth?!" I cried.

The Titan fell to the ground and another fifteen meter class Titan emerged from inside the Titan.

"What the hell is that thing?" Marco asked.

"I don't know,but I can't find Eren or Armin anywhere!" Mina said.

"Wait! Is that someone crying?" I asked when I heard sobbing in the distance.

I jumped across to the next rooftop and found Armin on his knees.

"A-Armin? Where's Eren?" I asked.

Suddenly there was the sound of giant footsteps approaching.

"Armin get on your feet! We are leaving!" Reiner said as he picked Armin up and we all followed Bertholdt.

"Armin, we were in the same squad! Where's Thomas, Nac, Mylius, and Eren!?" Mina demanded.

Armin snapped back to reality.

"You're worthless! Why can't you just die?!" He screamed.

Reiner sat Armin down once we got far enough away.

"Armin snap out of it man! Where are the others?!" Reiner asked him again.

"They....They gave up their lives for the sake of Humanity...except for Eren...he died saving me..." Armin said as he looked up at Ymir.

"I'm so sorry..." He apologized as he began to tear up.

Ymir fell to her knees and sobbed.

"No! No Eren!" She cried.

*Mikasa's POV*

I heard a scream just as we were about to evacuate.

"What happened!?" I asked.

"Go check it out Ackerman!" one of the other Elites commanded.

"Hai!" I said as I fired my ODMG and surveyed the rooftops until I found Bertholdt's squad and landed.

"Guys! I heard a scream! What happened?!" I demanded.

Ymir was on her knees sobbing.

"Y-Ymir...W-Where's Eren?" I asked.
