What He's Always Wanted

As we wait for the results, all I could think about is our future together. And what we would do with our life, once we are forced to face the repercussions. I tried discussing these things with him, but all he ever does is change the subject. If not that, than he'll just sit there and talk about all the positives, and tell me to relax. After about six harsh and painful minutes of waiting, we can finally see the results of the test. I picked up all eight tests hastily praying everything would turn out like I wanted it to. I turned to look at Jalen, who had been pacing back and forth for the last ten minutes. "Jalen", I said hoping he wouldn't be totally crushed by what I had to say. "Yeah babe. What happened? Is everything going to be ok?", he said it as though he was actually concerned."They're all ..... POSITIVE . "I could see the disappointment in his eyes, but I could also see the joy that was hidden behind it.  It was alittle overwhelming for him.  Shoot, it was overwhelming for me, too.  Now here comes the hard part, telling our parents.  It would be the second hardest part of this whole thing, the first being everything that comes after my water breaking.
