Jasper! Leave!

Lapis' POV

I couldn't believe she was trying to talk to Peridot but I couldn't do anything I just watched. "Hey Jasper. " peridot said in a low grumble voice. "Hey baby did you miss me?" Jasper said as she held Peridot's chin so that they were face to face Jasper had bent down so she was eye level with Peridot but she still look intimating. "No. Jasper. Now will you please step aside I want to go to bed. " Why was Peridot so calm it was as if Jasper had drained all of the emotion out of her. "Ah but Peri I wanna see how you cuts are healing you know how bad I felt after I pushed down those stairs. " Jasper said mocking as she grabbed Peridot's rist and held her up. She was now standing at her full height which led Peridot to be floating of the ground. "Let her go! " I yelled get Jasper's attention. "So this is your new Teddy bear hu Peri. Oh but I bet she doesn't who everything about what happened to you. " Peridot struggle as Jasper continued to torment her. "Jasper this is a no violence club so we must ask you to leave. " Ruby said trying to direct the conversation another way. "But Ruby I want to see the cut and scars on Peridot I didn't get to see her before I went to jail. " I guessed that ment that Jasper was charged with domestic abuse. I quickly punched Jasper in the gut which made her free Peridot. I then quickly helped her get up and talk towards the stairs then Jasper said through her pain. "She can't protect you forever Peridot. I mean its not like your mother could so I doubt she will. " Peridot facial expression turned from sad and scared to angry and in control. "Jasper! Leave! " Jasper then got up and walked out of the door I saw ruby follow her probably to tell the bouncers that she wasn't allowed back in. I then walked upstairs with Peridot and led her on her bed. "Hey Peri what happened to your mother. " Peri was now lieing down facing away from me. "She tryed to stop Jasper when she first started getting ruff but Jasper had paid someone to kill her in a car crash so that I would be all alone and have to move in with her. We didn't find out it was Jasper's doings that got my mother killed until after she was arrested. " I felt so bad for her. I then led on the bed next to her and started to cuddle with her. After and few minutes of silence I said "my father murdered my mother when she won the divorce case and after that since inherited her money he tryed to kill me. " Peridot turned over to hug me properly and said "I'm sorry. " I a small voice. "Get some sleep I'll see you in the morning. " I was about to get up when I felt a pull on my arm. "Stay please I don't want to be alone. " I smiled at the small girl and cuddled up with her under the bed sheets. "Good night Peri. " all I got as a reply was a small snore escape Peri's mouth.

Lapis' POV

I woke up to the sun pouring into the bedroom through the window. I sat up a little to realise that Peri's head was rested on my arm and her legs were all tangled up with mine. I smiled at her sleepy face as I led back down knowing I wouldn't be able to get up unless Peridot was awake also. I then noticed a small piece of her hear fall from her head and down her face. So I quickly moved my free arm towards Peridot's face and pushed the hair behind her ear. She then slowly began to wake up. "Ahhh. Good morning. " she said almost casually as if she had grown accustomed to sleeping with someone. She then rose her head so that she could reach over me and grab her glasses. "Good Morning Peridot. " I said cheerfully "do you have any plans for today? " I said sitting up so are faces could meet. "Yes actually since its Monday night no one will want to come to a rave bar so Amethyst and I will be going to a different bar to meet with its owner in order to form a partnership. " I listen closely as she spoke and I smiled at the idea of Peridot being all formal and making business deals. "Oh. Can I come I want to see how other bars run and how you work as the boss. " Peri got out of the bed and looked in her wardrobe for an outfit. "Sure Lapis but promise me best behavior Amethyst has already tried to convince me that we should go drinking but that never ends up going well. So I need you on my side ok? " I smiled and nodded my head she then picked out an outfit for the day and shewed me out of her room so that she could get dressed telling as doing so that I could have anything I wanted that was in the cabent for breakfast. I smiled and went into the kitchen to make some breakfast.

Peridot's POV

Amethyst, Lapis and myself all got into my car and drove to the other side of town towards Men for Men bar it was also a gay bar but instead of women it was for men. We parked close and went up to the building the bouncer let us in once I told him who I was. I went over to the bar to see a guy with pink hair and almost pinkish skin he also had a scar going across his eye. "Hello my name is Peridot Greene I am here to meet with a man named Lars. " the guy looked up when I said the name and smiled "well you've found him. Hey I'm Lars co-owner of this bar. " I shock his hand and looked behind me "these are two of my bartenders and close friends Amethyst and Lapis. " I said pointing to them Lars waved at them and soon we began to talk business.

We walked out of the bar with the deal made that we could avertice eachothers bars and help eachother in events. I walked out the door with Amethyst screaming in excitement. "Dudes we should celebrate I know this great bar down... " I quickly cut her off when I said "no Ame you remember what happened last time. " Amethyst groaned and Lapis sruggend saying "come on Peri it can't be that bad beside we all need the day off especially you when you work so hard. " both Lapis and Amethyst were now giving me puppy dog eyes. I soon caved in "fine but Amethyst Ruby will be picking us up and she just got a new car so don't puke in it. " Amethyst waved me off and we all got in my car to head towards the bar she was so desperately wanting to go to.
