Okay, so this is the next embarrassing story, in the series "Relatable." This story may contain awkward content and major swearing. This is, again, an exaggeration of a true story. This is my second story so please, no judgment on how bad I am at this. Thank you, enjoy.
Important information: This is in 8th grade. Includes boys.
Okay, so this story needs some backstory for you to actually get it.
(Backstory)
There is this guy named Noah at my school, he is a sort of a popular boy, if that makes sense? Let me explain. He is a boy who everyone likes, but is in a secluded crowd of his own close friends.
He is a guy that I never really cared or minded about, cause I was in no way involved with him. I had no classes with him. We had none of the same friends too.
He was a weirdo to me, and I never really understood why all of the other girls liked him. Almost every single girl liked him in our grade, or at least thought he was cute. I mean SERIOUSLY?! What was so good about him? I mean he isn't horrible looking in comparison to the other boys in our class, but that didn't mean that he was super handsome.
One of my friends kept on insisting that he had "Chocolate chip eyes." What does that even mean?Point is, my friends and other girls on our grade were crazy about him. Frankly, I didn't think he was all that and a bag of chips.
On with the story!
My friend, Paige, once had a major crush on him. She was basically obsessed. It was near a dance at this time, a Sadie Hawkens dance (girls ask boys). She wanted to ask him, but was too scared. I graciously said I would ask him for her. That was a mistake!
I texted him the next day. Let me tell you; it was unbearably awkward. I felt tense, basically a robot, and responding to him was so difficult. He is a very strange person, and I didn't understand him at all.
So I started off the conversation with awkwardly asking him if he was going to the dance with anyone, making sure he didn't think that I wanted to ask him.
He said that he did not know whether he was going or not. Long story short he said no, as expected of me and my friends. We're not exactly cool.
After that, there was another time where he asked me who I liked.
I was legit shaking from fear, and anticipation. I was so confused. Why would he ask someone who they like unless he liked them? I proceeded to make up fake delusions like this, and fake scenarios.
I refused to tell him because, well, that was kinda an awkward subject.
He ended up guessing, (or so I thought), and getting it right!! I was so confused. But then he told me that the guy I liked told Noah that I liked him himself.
Let me tell you right now; I WANTED TO DIE!! I was so embarrassed. I couldn't believe that my crush already knew that I liked him. I felt like shit.
Then Noah started telling me to ask my crush out! I started rambling, trying to get to know if he was saying this cause my crush liked me back.
He said that he didn't know whether my crush liked me or not. The whole thing was very sucpicous. Then guess what?........My crush ended up getting a girlfriend.
When I heard that news all of my affection towards my crush plummeted. There was no way I was gonna like someone who had a girlfriend.
I thought it was really weird that Noah wanted me to ask him out because, well, that was proof (He got a girlfriend) that he liked someone else, and I knew that Noah knew who my crush liked! That stupid asshole.

HumorSo this is pretty much a series of some awkward relatable stories in my life. Please don't judge! This is my first story, so it might not be perfect.
