Its all because of that idiot Dante! That's right folks, He's the main reason why there are Demons all over this city!" Suddenly, You noticed in the corner of your eye, A pool of blood emerging from the ground,Causing it to summon demons(or more specifically, Empusas)

People started screaming and running away for safety, you stood there as it reminded you of the horror of what happened to your hometown, You had the power and the ability to fight, but couldn't move a single muscle in your body, You were paralyzed at the sight of people screaming, children crying, Your ears started to ring due to the fact that you were traumatized,
One of the Empusa spotted you and it starts flying in your direction, you held your arms up and looked away and closed your eyes as it heads towards you, suddenly you felt a breeze on your side and heard metal being clashed, you opened your eyes to see a man with short white hair, a robotic arm, and a large red sword protecting you, "You doing ok there buddy?" Said the the man while fending off the Empusa "Y-Yeah, I'm alright" he then kills the empusa and tells you to get to some place safe, you nod in response and hide in an alleyway, you peeked over to see him mercilessly killing the Empusas with his sword and gun, slicing his blade across their limbs, bullets penetrating through their bodies, and using his robotic arm to electrocute his enemies.
Soon enough the area was rid of the Empusa, or so you thought, you see the man breathless from the fight as he mumbles something, "Damn, this is the third time today" said the man who was trying to catch his breath, you spotted one of the Empusa getting up and charging towards a little girl.
Your eyes we're widened at the sight of the Empusa charging towards the innocent human, you wanted to yell at it to get its attention, but instead, you furrowed your eyebrows and clenched your right fist which caused your rapier to be materialized out of thin air,
You UN-sheathed your weapon and lunged at the Empusa across the street, with great speed, and stabbed it right through the head.
The white haired man turned around and was speechless at the sight of you killing a demon, you pulled your rapier out of the demon and re-sheathed it, after that you escorted the child back to her parents, The parents we're grateful for saving their daughter's life, you nodded and walked towards the white haired man, "I guess I owe you one huh?" Said the white haired man, "No, you saved my life, I'm very grateful for that" You both stared into each others eyes for a moment, Suddenly you hear a trailer honking at the two of you, "Yo Nero! The hell do you think your doing, standin around gawking at each other, We got more fish to fry, Let's Go! " said the woman who was smoking a cigarette, "Welp, that's my ride, I'll catch you later kid" but the man turns around and gives you a flier, "I almost forgot- We need more people like you back at Devil May Cry, If you're interested, maybe give us a call and come to our place, and we'll see if you've got what it takes to be one of us, sound cool?" You raised one of your eyebrows as you mentally question whether or not you think its worth going, "Did I forget to mention you could get paid?" Said the white haired man with a smirk on his face.
Those words were very convincing to you, "Alright I'll think about it" the man starts walking towards the trailer, but stopped at the door and says, "by the way, the names Nero, you? "Said the man who was glancing over the shoulder, "(Y/N), my name is (Y/N) " you replied,
"Well its nice to meet you (Y/N), Hope I get to see ya around sometime" said the man who finally entered the trailer, which eventually took off.
You looked down at the flier he gave you and Mentally read it to yourself, "Devil... May... Cry..." Your mind became even more curious just by thinking about him, "Nero huh?...
