[ 1 ] New school, new life!

Nyashiko PoV

Today is the day I enter into Morinomiya Academy, apparently my old friend, Ryuuchi Kashima attends here too. Strangely I haven't seen him in years to my dismay, but today isn't a day to gloom around but instead show a comforting smile on my face! I spin around in front of the mirror with my new uniform, long straight hair and most importantly, a smile! I decide to make my way to school, hopefully I won't get lost....

I look across the road to see a familiar brown haired boy in the same uniform as me with a little boy in his arms. "Ryuuchi-kun?! Kotaro-kun?!" I yell from where I am. He looks in my direction to see me waving to him. "Ah! M-M-Miyu-chan?!" He says surprised. "Kehehe long time no see, right?" I say to him. "I know it's been a long time, you look so different from when we were in grade 1..." He says eyeing me. "Ahah...Yeah, I need someone to help show me around. I just moved into town too." I say to him. "Okay then I think the teachers will help you with the class work. I can give you a quick tour after school if you want?" He offers as we walk towards the school. "Totally! I'm definitely free, and we need to catch up." I say with a smile. He nods. We make our way into the school and I show him the schedule that the school emailed to us.

"We're in the same homeroom and a couple other lessons too. That's great!" He smiles. I nod and I notice a girl peering across us as I open up my locker. I put on my indoor shoes quickly and casually walk up to her. She had a short cut light brown hair with brown warm eyes and the same height as me. She looks nervous. "Hey, I'm Miyu Nyashiko. You can call me Shiko-chan though, want to be friends?" I ask holding my hand or with a bright smile. "S-Sure. It's nice to meet you, really, I've never seen you before, are you new?" She asks. "Mhm I'm in Ryuuchi-kun's class." I smile and Kashima gives a short wave behind me. "Y-You know Kashima-kun?" She asks shocked. "Surprising really, we were old childhood best friends." I say to her. "O-Oh... so you aren't... together?" She asks. "Eh?! Of course not! We're only close friends... and we've barely talked since recently haha...." I say to her. She nods her head and she walks away.

"So Ryuuchi-kun, where do you take Kotaro? I mean you can't just leave him in class if you know what I mean..." I ask. "The daycare room, I'm a member so I take care of the children there and still keep in touch with my normal studies." He explains. "Cooool! Can you show me? Pleaseeee!" I beg him and I use my pout on him in attempt of convincing. He sighs. "Fine, just be careful. With yourself and the kids." He says and we approach the daycare room. He opens the door to see only a pink haired guy asleep on the floor. "Kids? Where are they-?" I ask entering the room with Ryuuchi. Ryuuchi gets tackled to the ground by four kids as some sort of surprise attack. On instinct I catch Kotaro as I slid across the floor to catch him. Me and Ryuuchi sigh in relief. "I'll destroy you Ryuuchi onii-san!" A black haired boy says. I laugh at the sight. The four notice me and hide behind a play table. "Onii-san! There's a weird lady over there!" A green haired girl says. I feel a dark hue come over my head but I shake it off. "Ah...sorry I haven't introduced myself. I'm Miyu Nyashiko. Its great to meet you, hopefully you haven't been giving my friend, Ryuuchi-kun a hard time?" I ask and they all shake their heads. The bell rings. "I guess that's goodbye... I should head to class before I'm late." I say. Ryuuchi nods. "I'll be back soon, Kotaro. Kirin-chan, Taka-kun, Kazuma-kun and Takuma-kun." Ryuuchi smiles at them. We head off to class.

Ryuuchi sits down at his place and I'm stood in front of the class. "Class. We will be having a new student here, please treat her with respect." The teacher says. "Sensei! What's her name?" Someone asks. "Her name is....M...Mew Nya...sh...i....koh...." They try decider my name. "Kinda like a cat." Someone says in the class. "It's pronounced My-you Nah-shi-koh, sensei, and who said that?! I'm not a cat, fight me!" I say with a hiss. The class laugh at this. Ryuuchi sighs. "Now now settle down." The teacher tries settling down the now chattering class as I take my seat next to a girl with brown hair neatly tied into a ponytail. "I can tell this year will be one hell of a year with you in our class. And don't worry is a compliment." She says with a wink. "Agreed." I smile back at her.
