It was a Friday evening and G just got dropped off at his bus stop. He walked to his house and got the mail out of his mail box. He walked inside and set the mail on the kitchen counter. His mom was there washing dishes in the sink.
"Thanks G." She said as he set the mail down.
G went up to his room and set his bag down on the floor.
~·Time skip to the next day (Saterday)·~
G woke up to the sound of voices yelling down stairs. He crept down the stairs. He saw in the living room his dad with a beer bottle yelling at his mom who was crying. This wasn't the first time this happened but it still scared G.
(G's parents aren't this way in real life. Its just for drama)
G snuck off to the kitchen. He went to the fridge. As he opened the fridge door he saw the mail on the counter. It hasn't been touched since G brought it in the day before. His eye caught a note that had G's name on it.
He picked up the note. He opened it and there was a card inside. The card read:
Goodbye Party
You know we're moving soon so this is a time to hangout with us while you still can!!!
Time: 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Date: Sunday 4/12/19

G was sad because he forgot that S was moving soon. He heard a big THUD! in the living room. He went over to see what happened. His mom was on the ground holding her head. There were glass shards coming between where her fingers were. G's dad was holding a broken beer bottle.
G's mom noticed G. She signaled for G to go out the door. He quietly opened the door and went out. There were tears down his face. This was the first time his dad had done something like that. He still had his clothes on from the day before. He had his gray hoodie on. His phone and 20 dollars were in his pocket.
He put his ear buds in and played some of his music. He looked at the time. It was 8:34 am. He sat on his porch steps and cryed a little. A few minutes pass and G decided to go buy something with his 20 dollars. He started walking to the nearest store.
When he got there he decided to see if he could afford some new headphones. As he was walking toward the electronics section he passed the craft stuff. He saw on the clearance shelf diffrent crafts. This one craft caught his eye.
It was a "Friendship Bracelet Making Kite". He stopped and went to look at it. He stood there looking at it for a while. Then he thought that he could make a bracelet for S as a little gift. He went to grab a little box to put the bracelet in. He checked out and went home.
~·Time skip to Sunday·~
G was wearing a dark gray hoodie. It was the one S gave him on a cold winter day. It was a little big on him because it was S's. He walked down to S's house. He knocked on the door. S's mom opened the door. She let G in. S's dad, his sister B, and S were sitting at the table inside.
G sat down and everyone started to chat. The time passed and it was 6:40. B was hanging with her friends. S's parents were talking in the kitchen. And S and G were playing Call of Duty in the living room.
"Hey, come to the table, I want to give you something." Said G to S
"Sure." Said S
Everyone came to the table and sat down.
"Ok umm I have a present for S" said G.
From behind G's back G pulled out a small box. He set it infront of S. S started opening it. Inside was a bracelet with a G in the middle. There was also a note. S as picked it up and read it.
Dear S,
This is a little gift from me. I have one as well.
S looked up and saw G pull back his hoodie to show a bracelet that had a S on it. S smiled at G.
I want you to know that I care for you and that you leaving is going to be like my dog dieing (pretty sad... :( )
I also want you to know I love you like a brother and that you can always call me when you need to.

S put down the letter and grabbed the bracelet and put it on. The clock hit 7:00 and S and G went outside.
"Thanks for haveing me over." Said G
"No problom! Thanks for the bracelet." Said S
There was a long pause. Then G hugged S. S was a liitle shocked but the sudden movement. He hugged him back.
"I'll miss you....and I love you..." G whispered while hugging S.
...
"Like a brother!" Said S
G hesitated then said "Yea.... like a brother." G let go and walked off. S waved goodbye.
