~(Y/N)'s POV~

I wasn't entirely sure how long I had been there, but eventually I had fallen asleep. Unlike other nights, Kage did not come to talk to me. I wondered if it was due to the fact the had taken my memories with out my consent. Right now, that didn't matter. I felt cold as I sat in the void of my mind. I felt guilt... guilty that I could not remember the people who obviously cared so much about me. I felt angry that Kage had taken part of me with those memories, that he had taken things I had experienced and treated them as if they needed to be locked away.

When I opened my eyes again, I was still in the same room as before, except I had a blanket rapped around my shoulders. A red jacket underneath my head. Looking down at it, I felt a strange sense of comfort, and I could help but smile. "You're awake." My head turned towards the door, The blue paladin stood their, a gloomy expression on his face. Slowly he started to move towards me, before sitting in front of me, "Guess I should probably reintroduce myself. I'm Lance.... God this is weird." I tilted my head a little as he sighed, "The first time we met you smashed my head into a wall... this is so strange." I laughed a little, wondering why I had chosen to harm someone who seemed as sweet as Lance.

"Sorry?" Lance shock his head and smiled, "Nah. We worked stuff out." I sighed and looked at the roof, "Lance... what was my relationship with everyone here....?" The blue paladin smiled a little, moving to sit beside me, "Well... You and Shiro, the black paladin, are half brothers. Same mother I think." I nodded, a small smile on my face, "Yeah... guess I met the people mum actually loved then..." Lance continued, "You and Hunk, the yellow paladin, were good friends. He tried to teach you how to cook some times. Pidge, the green paladin, was probably your best friend, along with her brother, Jordan. You didn't know Coran and Allura very long, but Allura began to dislike you when she found out you were part Galra." I nodded. "You were like my brother. Part of my family." I smiled a little at this and turned to him, "What about Keith...?"

Lance shrugged, "I don't really know. You two were really close, but I don't know much more then that." I nodded, and let out a side. A little disappointed that I couldn't find out why I seemed to feel so... safe around the red paladin, and at the same also feel as though I had to protect him. "You okay?" Lance asked. I sighed again, this time in frustration, "I just.... wish I could remember. I hate the fact that Kage just erased that part of me... erased all of you from my memory. You all seem like great people, and you seemed so happy to see me... Keith looked as though he was going to cry in pure relief... but I can't return any of that." I gripped my shirt, "I want to remember.... but I'm sacred I never will. Kage has gone silent... he won't answer me." Lance frowned slightly, "Did he... I don't know, leave?"

I shook my head, "No. In order for Kage to try and find a new host, I need to either die or agree to let him go, and i'm pretty sure I didn't do that since I can still use his powers. He's just... ignoring me." Lance placed a hand on my shoulder, "Maybe he feels guilty for taking your memories and doesn't know how to face you." I bit my lip and nodded, "Maybe... but with out him... I won't ever be able to get them back." A knock at the door, caused us both to look over. The rest of the paladins stood their, Keith with out his jacket, causing me to realize the red one was probably his. They entered, without a word, and dragged me into a group hug. "You might not remember us (N/N) but we are here for you. It's what family does." Shiro's voice was the only one I heard, for he was to only one who spoke.

I laughed, finding comfort in the embrace, which surprised me since I'm not normal one for affection. But I guess, even though I don't remember them, I subconsciously know that I trust them. After all... I guess this is my family.
