Hermione Granger a teen blonde girl was asleep in her dorm curled up like a cat her hairs were messy and she was sound asleep,Suddenly there was a knock on the door ,Hermione opened her eyes lazily and looked at her watch"oh shit I'm late"she hurried and opened the door"Hey Gin I think I am late for my classes!"she exclaimed she almost had tears in her eyes.Ginny Weasley a tall red haired girl stood there smirking"uh Mione today is Christmas...merry Christmas girlyy"she said giving her friend a hug.Hermione smiled widely"thanks Merlin I thought I was late for my classes...good to know its Christmas but still I got to do loads of homework I gotta go to-"Ginny interrupted her"cmon ...give it a rest for sometime today is Christmas lets go open the gifts!"she said excitedly.Hermione stood there thinking for a bit and then smiled"Okay I am coming!"she put on her jacket and followed Ginny she had got many gifts..Ron had given her a Wrist -Watch. .Harry had given her a Defence Against Dark Arts Book and Ginny had gifted her chocolates."I love chocolates,thanks Gin!"but there lay a parcel which had a locket it was a diamond locket and it was heart shaped.Hermione looked at it curiously frowning. Ginny looked at the locket in awe"woah who gifted you that!!"she asked.Hermione looked at the parcel carefully but it had no name..but there was a letter inside the box ,so she quickly started unfolding the letter.
