"Squad A has had all members gravely injured after a surprise attack!" Y/n felt her heart clench after remembering

"Don't worry Love I'll be in squad A unless there's a surprise attack we will be okay" Chuuya said softly so y/n wouldn't worry

Before y/n could stop herself her eyesight got glossy as she felt felt tears roll down her checks Tachihara came running towards her knowing this couldn't be good "Hey! Y/n what's going on, you NEVER show emotion"
Y/n just stood there anxiety took over as she thought of all the possibilities that could of happened to the love of her life.

Time skip

"Miss l/n?" A doctor called. Y/n just nodded afraid that of she were to open her mouth she start sobbing again. "You can come in now" the doctor said her voice gentle and filled with sorrow unable to think of what y/n must feel right now. Y/n got up and started dragging her feet to the blank white door with the number 175 on it y/n scoffed at the sight it was the same room she was in back when she made an attempt to take her life.

Y/n stood in shock looking at her lover she took a breath of relief surprisingly he wasn't in too bad of shape but he did have a mask on most likely so he can breathe and that broke y/ns heart.
She walked to the chair at his bedside and dropped down grabbing his hand and just holding it, it helped calm her down.

The beeping of the heart monitor was the only thing keeping y/n awake in fear it would stop beeping and the one person she had planned to spend the rest of her life with would be gone she knew she should think postive but she couldn't yes Chuuya was in the port mafia and she should know by now he's gonna get injuried but she always thought he'd be okay due to his power never once did she doubt him but this changed it all it was now 3am in the morning and y/n had yet to sleeee- darkness y/n had finally passed out from exhaustion.

Chuuyas POV

He opened his eyes to see nothing but whiteness

Where was he? He raised his hand to wipe his eyes and ended up hitting his oxygen mask that's when he remembered what had happened. The only thing he could think about was if y/n was okay he knew this incident would affect her mental health gravely and he just wanted her to be okay.

Third person pov

Y/n awoke to see Chuuya looking around like a lost puppy probably due to the fact he never knew why he was in the hospital. Without second thought she launched herself at him and engulfed him in the biggest tightest hug she could give completely forgetting his injuries. He grunted in pain but the fact she was with him made him forget it all as he soon hugged her back

"I was so scared you'd leave me" y/n started sobbing

"But I didn't I stayed alive for you"
