The sky was dark and the noise of the thunder rolled on in the heavens. Fear struck Christina as she knew what would make or break her tonight. She sat down on her bed and stared out the window at the beautiful displays of lightning. The door swung open and she jumped up to see who it was. Aria stood in the doorway.

"Oh hi."

"Hey want to go get some dinner?"

"No I'm not very hungry right now."

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah just a bit of a stomach ache."

"Okay then maybe just a drink and we can study in the library."

"Sorry but I'm busy tonight."

"Oh really? What are you doing?"

"Ummm, just some stuff. Draco has a surprise."

"Ooooooh I can't wait to hear all about it. Enjoy!" Without another word, Aria disappeared into the hallway. Christina gathered her wand and knife and apparated out of the room. She found herself standing in a dark hall. She was confused. Someone must of intercepted her apparation.

She started down the hallway hoping that there would be something to light the way. A hand was laid on her shoulder and she jumped up a bit. She turned to see Draco standing before her. Behind him stood Belatrix and a few other deatheaters that she didn't know. Draco hugged Christina and Christina looked up at her mother's scarred face as she accepted his embrace.

"Come on. Let's get this over with you two. Be professional would you?" Bellatrix scowled.

"What's the matter mom? Jealous? I bet dad never held you like that. And I don't expect Voldemort will anytime soon."

Bellatrix reached out to strike Christina but Christina grabbed her wrist and twisted it around behind her mother's back. Her wand found a place on Bellatrix's temple.

"You were never a mother to me so don't believe that I'll treat you with respect now."

Bellatrix stood speechless and Christina let go after a moment. The group continued down the dark hallway until they came to an entry where Draco stopped the group. Harry and Dumbledore were talking together on the Astronomy Tower. Dumbledore mumbled something to Harry and he disappeared down the stairs. Draco took a deep breath and stepped forward drawing his wand and pointing it at Dumbledore.

Draco disarmed Dumbledore and he muttered something to him. Dumbledore replied in a soft voice that Christina couldn't hear. They went on until Draco was on the verge of tears and was ready to kill him. Christina stepped forward and laid her hand on his shoulder.

"You don't have to do this Draco." she whispered.

She pushed him back behind her and stepped forward instead with her wand pointing at Dumbledore. Snape came up from the stairs and pushed Christina back just as she had pushed Draco out of the way. He drew his wand as well and it was over. Their headmaster was dead.
