Misty had never really had a 'normal' life. She lived alone with her twin brother, Hunter on the second floor of their apartment. She has lived with her twin alone for two years and fifty-seven days. Misty's mind had always counted since her parents died. She didn't want it to, it just did. She always had a different way of thinking than others. Some people say that she either under thought something, or over thought it. No in between. She just said she had a 'more active' imagination than others. Just like her mum used to say when she was little.
Misty and her twin used to look exactly alike. They had always had the same straight black hair and crystal blue eyes, until Misty dyed her hair blue and pink. Her eyes were a light crystal blue when she was happy but a dark blue when she was unhappy or tired. Hunter still had the black hair and blue eyes that he had always had. Hunter was in what they call "The popular group" at school. He always had his way with words, and girls. Plus to girls apparently he was really hot.
Misty had changed a lot the year she was gone. For one, she dyed my hair, and grew about seven inches taller. Her skin was a lot tanner and clearer, her voice had matured making her sound more around her age, and she lost a lot of weight. Like at least fifty pounds. She never liked it when people judged her, which is why she usually keeps to herself most of the time.
In Her Eyes:
Chapter One: iSee Detention In The Future
The whole time I have been sitting on my bed hoping my brother would come in and tell me "Oh Misty, you don't have to go to school. It sucks anyway" but he never did, much to my disappointment. I walk into the kitchen hearing pans banging and Hunter on the phone. Jumping on the counter I take his phone.
"This is the Blake residents speaking. Hunter can't talk right now due to some... Butt problems? Bye!" I hang up quickly before Hunter can take the phone. He glares at me but I could care less. This monster woke me up at seven in the morning. He deserves many butt problems.
"Hey that was James!" James was his best friend. Me and james didn't associate that much because I was the 'nerd' of the school. Well atleast I was, before I left.
"Do I have to go to school tomorrow?" I whined like a child kicking my legs in and out. I seriously do not want to go to school.
"Yes Misty! You have to go to school! How many times do we have to have this conversation?" How about until you tell me I don't have to go? I thought. I groan a little over dramatically and jump off the counter and walk out and up to my bedroom. It was six at night and I was exhausted from unpacking. I slip off my shirt and pants and slide into bed.

Beep beep beep
"Shut up!" I groan rolling over and putting my pillow on my head.
Beep beep beep
I sigh and sit up slamming my alarm clock on the floor, making it shut up. I hoped last night that my alarm clock got tired of waking me up and ran away. I guess I was wrong...
After I get out of the shower I put on my eye liner and mascara, then I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, with a white tank top that says OBEY in big gold and black letters. I grab my really big bold cross/chain and put it on. Looking in the mirror I realize I forgot earrings and put gold dream catcher ones on. I look in the mirror again and figure I look good enough so I put on black flats, swing my bag over my shoulder, and head down stairs. Hunter is down there with a plate of pancakes. I take one and take a bite out of it.
"Ew" I grimace spitting it out and giving him the pancake back. "How can you eat those demon foods from hell"
"Who doesn't like pancakes? You're insane" I ignore him and take a shiny green apple out of the fruit basket. He looks at me with a weird look on his face.
