Somewhat Poetry

1) "It's been a while"

"It's been a while" She mutters

Having not glanced back for a long, long time.

Time lost these parts a long while back.

While she nervously wonders "What happened since I left?"   

"It's been a while" She takes a deep breath

Knowing things always change, but don't go back.

Back when she was still there at all.

All she can think is "What and who did I miss?"

"It's been a while" She thinks

Understanding that the possibilities thrived, never stopping.

To stop was impossible if time kept going.

She kept hoping "Maybe It'll be the same."

"It's been a while"

"And now I'm back"
