Lost In the Darkness Of Anothers Soul

Chapter 1
Words Can Changes Lives
My foot steps echoed through the empty halls, seemingly alone I started humming an unfamiliar tune I had heard on the radio this morning. As I walked past the classrooms people made it clear I wasn't invisible, waving frantically through the class doors, the old teachers gave me looks that would feel at home in a horror movie, for disrupting their class. I carried on walking down the cold hall, my loneliness was interrupted when a pair of hands slid around my waist, pulling me to a stop. Their grip tightened on me as I turned around, my laugh echoed carelessly at the face my boyfriend of 4 months Steven was making at me, looking like the cutest lost puppy. He leaned in and gave me a small peck on the corner of my mouth. I leaned back and smiled playfully,
"shouldn't you be in class?" I asked blinking my eyes in an innocence that had every teacher wrapped round my finger.
"shouldn't you be, princess" His deep voice grumbled back at me, His deep blue eyes dancing in a laughter that he was surprisingly managing to keep quiet and undetectable inside his broad muscly chest.
"well played" I winked, I kissed his cheek and slipped out of his arms, starting my walk away from him. I was half way to the door when a bellowing voice called after me,
"Get Ur skinny gymnast butt back here", Steven had yelled that out while classes where going on, teachers who were already pissed off at their students where gonna blow a casket at us. Giggling I turned an waved at him, walking backward towards the door that lead to my freedom, I caught sight of about four doors slowly opening, Steven grabbed my hand and ran with me out the door, not releasing my hand he slowed to a walk. Pulling my small frame into his side, his arm wrapped around my waist holding me in place and unable to escape. I laughed as he ticked my sides, squealing occasionally, in my giggling fit I hadn't seen where he was leading us, my back pressed up against the fence, the fence at the back of the school, where even if u had telescope u wouldn't see us through the hill and trees. His lips pressed to mine gently moving them. He pressed my body closer against his, his hands travelled down my back, getting lower by the second, he grabbed my hips and pushed his into them. He moaned into my mouth while I was horrified. His hands travelled lower till they were touching my ass, and I felt him squeeze.
"stop" I said my voice soft as silk. He moved his lips down to my neck, I squirmed trying to get out of his grasp.
"Stop!" I said louder this time, my voice coming close to Icy. This shocked him, and he moved back a few centimeters, just enough to allow me to slip my hands up and push on his chest, he stumbled back. Still shocked I talked to him like that, I slapped him straight across the face, his head turning when my hand came in contact with his left cheek. I briskly started to walk away, I got about 10 meters when I heard his voice call after me,
"Babe, I'm so sorry" the voice called, no regret was registered in my head, Infact he just sounded proud, smug. "Mel, listen to me!, I wasnt gonna go that far, I'm so sorry" His body came and stood infront of me, he held my face with his hands, I searched his eyes and as before no sorrow, regret or sadness showed in his eyes. Just a mix of happiness and proudness, it made me sick. I leaned closer
"It Melissa to you" I snarled, once again leaving him stunned. His surprise gave me a chance to barge past him and leg it into the school.
My name is Melissa, or Mel to my friends. I'm pretty average height, at 5.7 feet tall I have brown hair and greeny-blue eyes. I have pale skin, and am pretty well known never to be mean. It just doesn't work for me. I do gymnastics, and am well on my way to competing in a higher grade than I do now. People have high hopes for me, hopes that they don't keep secret, hopes that every time I hear, just add more weight on my shoulders. I was foolish to believe that one word 'Stop' would really stop him, I believed that next week everything would be that same, that I would be the one that every girl wanted to be, the one that every guy wanted to be with.... I didn't realize how much that one word was gonna change my life.
