Chasing After You.. (BakuDeku Story)

First Day Back

*Sigh* Time to go back to school...I'm a bit worried that Kacchan will be mean to me but lately, he has been nicer to me so maybe he has changed? Then again, he might be really cranky today...We're coming back from a little vacation our school gave us...Well, I shouldn't be scared of Kacchan anymore....But I can't help it....It's something about him but I just don't know what it is that scares me...Is it my attraction for him or is it that he is just scary...I have no clue and I want to know what it is- *my mom walked into my bedroom and told me it was time to head back to my dorms..I've been spending the night at my old home but it's time to go back to the dorms...I hugged her goodbye and headed back to my school*
     "Hey Deku!!" I heard someone say and saw that it was Uraraka waving at me and Iida standing next to her, fixing his glasses.. They both walked up to me and told me about their adventures during break. I had told them what I did over the break but I knew it wasn't as exciting as what they did, but it was worth a shot..I was able to greet everyone and hugged them all, while wearing a big smile! We all chatted then went silent when one person walked into the dorm area..It was Kacchan.
     I had felt perfectly fine (besides feeling a bit homesick) before Kacchan walked into the school..All of a sudden, I felt a rush adrenaline and felt my face feel hot, while shaking..What is this feeling? It can't be...I really doubt it but maybe it's...Love? I tried really hard to make it not obvious that I was freaking out but I'm pretty sure everyone saw right through my disguise.
"Uhh Deku, are you alright?" Denki Kaminari asked me.
"H-Huh!? O-Oh...Yeah...I'm fine...I just need to wash my face and get some water, I'll be right back!" I reply as I soon run off to the bathrooms to wash my face and "get water"...That was my excuse to leave the room without making it obvious why I was leaving right after Kacchan arrived, but it was probably still obvious whatever I did..Oh well! It got me out of that room. As I splashed water on my face I heard a noise (a door opening) and I quickly looked up. And guess who it was? The person I was avoiding...Kacchan...
     "K-Kacchan!? What are you doing here?!" I yelled in fear while going pale.
"Tch...Why do you think I'm here, nerd?" Kacchan replied.
I stood there confused while feeling my face turn back to a bright pink..I still had water on my face so I quickly grabbed a towel to dry my face (and to cover up the pinkness a bit). As I finished drying my face up, I looked up to see if he was still there...And he was.
"OI DEKU! Why'd you leave right as I got here?! Hahhh!?" Kacchan yelled.
"I-I told you!..*mumbles: Unless you weren't listening* I told e-everyone that I j-just needed water and to wash my face..." I stuttered.
Just by the look of Kacchan's face after I had said that, I knew two things. One, he is probably going to say something smart back. And two, he could probably tell really easily why I left the dorm area....
