Chapter 8: Jesse is back

I look at him as my eyes widen and comes over and hugs me and i hug him back mouthing to my brother what the hell? and he mouths back i don't know he just showed up. as he stepped away from each other i said Jesse meet my boyfriend Brantley. everybody looks up says all at once boyfriend!?!?!? me and brantley nodded and we both smiled as he kissed my cheek and he shook Jesse's hand as they said hey to each other and we walked in holding hands and sat down on the couch and talked to everybody as Jesse turned to me and asked so Riley i was wondering if i could stay here? i looked at him and said sure about what about your place? he looked at me and said it um it got foreclosed on, i looked at him concerned and said oh no i'm so sorry Jesse of course you could stay here. he nods and says thank you i nod and say your welcome, i got up and said come on i'll show you where you can sleep, he nods and gets up and follows me downstairs and says nice place, i smile and says thank you i open the door to one of the many rooms and say i know its not much but its better then nothing. he smiles and says thank you so much,

i nod and say no problem as i look at him i say i'll be upstairs if you need anything. he nods and i walk back upstairs and sigh in pain and walk back up and walk upto my room carefully as a feeling of weakness came over me and i almost fell until i felt somebody's big strong arms around me to catch me from falling, i turn around and its Jesse. Brantley comes over and asked if i'm ok as i cover my stomach jesse looks down and see the blood and says oh my God riley your bleeding!! as he said that my brother and everybody else runs over as i say its ok guy its because i haven't changed the bandage i just haven't changed it. i look at Brantley and ask can you help me upstairs so i can change it? he nods and says of course babe, he helps me walk up the steps and as i turn around and say thank you jesse for catching me from falling, he smiles and says anytime. i smile and walk into my room as Brantley changes my bandage he asks so thats jesse? i nod and say yep thats jesse, brantley looks at me and asked did you know he was coming home? i shook my head and said no i haven't talked to him since he left me that note, brantley nods and said its just kind of wierd that he just shows up out of nowhere, grabbed his hand and say you have nothing to worry about ok i love you.

i look into his eyes and kiss him deeply and passionately and say come on lets go back downstairs with everybody else, he smiles and nods as we walk downstairs into the lving room with everybody else as they all stare at me and Brantley in silence, i finally say i'm going to make some cookie for everyone, i get up and walk to the kitchen as tina follows me as sit at the bar as i get all the stuff out to make cookies as i do i feel Tina's eyes burning a hole through my head. i turned around and looked at her and whispered why are you looking at me like that? she whispered back and said Brantley and Jesse in the same house together do you think thats a good idea? i looked at her and begin to make the cookies and said Brantley is only staying here on his days off, she looked at me and whispered ok you and jesse in the same house do you think thats a good idea? i mean the guy you gave your V card up too and the guy your with now. i look at her and say i love Brantley and me and jesse are friends its gonna be fine. she whispered if its gonna be fine then why you making peace cookies then sitting with your boyfriend and friend?

i rolled my eyes at her and put them in the oven as i text came through my phone, i read it looked up and asked where Uncle Franco and Uncle Charlie? Vinny looked at me and said i think they are in our office. i nod and run upstairs to find them and yell Uncle Franco and Charlie we have to go NOW!!! as slip my gun in my back pocket and ran downstairs and grabbed my other gun and stuck it in my back pocket and walked back upstairs to get greeted by the uncles as they asked whats wrong i pulled out my phone and showed them the text they nodded and said lets go i nod and say um we'll be back later we just have to go somewhere and get something tina watch the cookies, i walk over and kiss Brantley and say bye, he smiles and says bye babe be careful, as Vinny stood up and asked where are you going? my brother stood up and asked yeah where are y'all going? i sighed and said we're um we're going to the strip club. Vinny and Brantley and my Brother stood up and all said that the same time the strip club?!?!?!?! where you got shot!?!?!?!? i nodded and said yeah. Jesse stood up and asked you got shot?!?!? i looked at all of them and said yes i turned to my brother and brantley and vinny and said i be careful i have to go. i picked up the keys and ran out.
