"Luna,

I am sorry to inform you that you were not excepted into our fine arts private school. Your intellectual level and audition did not meet our very high level standards. We do hope that you improve this year and audition for us again at another time.

From,

Primary Fine Arts school.

"Well that's harsh,", Luna mumbled throwing the letter to the ground. She grunted softly. She had wanted to be excepted, but that really didn't matter to her much anymore. She had auditioned in June and here she was, three months later after hoping and praying to get it, and now she didn't give two shits. Luna stared at her light blue wall thinking of nothing but a few song lyrics and why she had wanted to go to the stupid school anyways. She wondered where her best friend Sydney was in this house. She climbed out of her bed and took a few steps to the door.

"SYD!", Luna yelled quite loudly down the steps.

"WHAT?!", Sydney exclaimed back immediatly. Luna climbed down the stairs and quickly ran to greet sydney with a cheerful tight hug from behind.

"I didn't get excepted.", Luna whispered into her ear.

"Aww, Luna- I-I'm so sorry. I know how much you wanted to-", Luna cut her off.

"Nah, I don't care as much as I thought I would, but what they said in the letter was a little..."

"A little what?", Sydney asked annoyed at the awkward silence. Luna propped herself up onto the kitchen counter.

"They basically said I was stupid and untalented.", Luna explained grabbing a red apple from the fruit bowl and taking a large bite.

"They didn't mean that...", Sydney laughed

"Uhhh, I don't know man.", Luna cimbed off the table and faced Sydney. "Have you heard anything from my mom?" Luna sounded pained when she said this, but she kept herself together.

"No, I'm sorry, Luna," Sydney gave Luna a hug. Luna's parents had been gone for months together on a "buisness trip". She knew that buisness trips didn't last as long as they had been gone. They were sending Luna money for neccesities, for things like groceries and just necessities, but she still really missed them. The only thing that was good about them being gone was the fact that Sydney got to stay with her for the time being. They weren't sisters, but since her parents were gone she got to make the rules.

Luna broke the hug, "Hey, it's fine. I have you," Luna gave a weak smile.

"Okay, well I have to order dinner, so what would you like," Sydney asked changing the subject.

"Just cheese pizza if you don't mind.", Luna began in a british accent.

"Alright, I'm with you on that one.", Syd giggled. Luna marched up the stairs and circled around to her room. She then got out her homework and started working. Math was the worst so she started on that. Just as she was about to really get focused and start a faint Ding ding ding, came from Luna's phone indicating that she had a text message. Luna reached for her phone knowing that she probably shouldn't get side tracked while she was doing homework. She decided she would just look at the home screen. That couldn't hurt...right? Luna walked to her bed and snatched her phone. On it was a blocked number. The text simply read "hey,".

Luna unlocked her phone going to her message app and typed in: "Who is this?" Luna suspected that she might have given someone her phone number and forgotten about it, but no matter how hard she thought she couldn't recall ever doing so. Immediately the block number had saw her text and Luna saw that the unknown person was typing. Luna bit at the side of her nails waiting for an answer. A little message bubble popped up. "Just me :)", was all it said. Luna smirked and began typing. "Well hello there "just me", I'm Luna and I think you might have the wrong # :/". The mysterious person quickly replied yet again, "I know I just want a friend to talk to."

Luna started getting quite creeped out. She paced back and forth and wrinkling her forehead. She was going to tell the person to go away, but decided against it because she wasn't sure who he was or what he might do. She simply typed: "oh, okay then. The creepy person hadn't replied with haste this time, so she sat back down at her desk and began her math homework again. In about five minutes time the man had texted her again. She got back up and looked at her lock screen. The text that the person had sent was to long for Luna to read there so she unlocked her phone and read: "So, where are you from.". Luna knew that she shouldn't get freaked out like she was, but she was freaked out quite easily. Horror had always given her anxiety.

She decided to reply with something that she shouldn't have: "Can you please leave me alone. I don't know you. Just go make friends else where, please." He/she saw it and began typing. After about 3 minutes of Luna just staring at her screen blankly she saw another chat bubble pop up and it clearly said: "okay", Luna exhaled not even noticing that she had held her breath in for a very long time.

And that was just the beginning.
