After what seemed like a lifetime, the bell signalling the end of tutor rang. I stepped out into the corridor, dashing through the crowd of teens towards my locker. Will was already waiting at his locker when I got there. "Hey babe," he said. "You know I don't like you calling me that," I whispered, opening my locker. Will ignored my comment. "Anyway, babe, wanna come over tonight. I have... plans for us," he but his lip suggestively. I stuffed my algebra books into my bag, trying not to make eye contact with him. "I, uh, it's my cousins birthday today, will," I lied, "I have to go to her party. Sorry. Maybe another time?" Will spun on his heel and began to walk away, "whatever, babe," he called back to me. "You know, I really don't like him," I heard a voice say behind me, "he seems like such an idiot!" I spun around to see Michael, furrowing his brow in annoyance. "Yeah, well, he's my boyfriend so I don't appreciate you speaking about him like that," I told him, closing my locker. Michael brushed it off, "anyway, you ready to go?" He asked, pulling his keys out from his front pocket of his black jeans. "Yeah, we better get going. We've got a lot of work to do," I placed my bag on my shoulder, following Michael towards the parking lot.
