Your POV
You woke up to the sound of the waves nudging the boat and the sun streaming into Ford's room. There was no one else in the room, so you figured that they already woke up. You hopped out of bed, threw on your clothes, and ran up to the main deck. Everyone was up there with a net or a fishing pole. Webby ran up to you and dragged you by the arm over to the starboard where everyone was. "Yay! You're finally awake!" Webby exclaimed.
"Um, what's everyone doing?" You asked.
"Oh yeah. We're all fishing for breakfast. Ford's cooking some of the fish right now in the kitchen. Come on! Take a spear!" She said. She shoved a fishing spear into your hand. You leaned over by the edge, looking for something big. In 20 minutes, you had caught two small tuna fish, but nothing more. Then, you saw something big in the water. Not shark big, but still pretty massive. You let out a war whoop, jumped in the water and stabbed it. You wrapped the rope around it and began to wrangle it in the water. Everyone on deck was cheering and clapping.
"That's it! Wrangle that thing!" Stanley laughed.
"That's my niece!" Scrooge smiled. "Now, watch out or you could get impaled!" Once you'd finally gotten to kill it, everyone helped to pull you up and onto the deck. (Except for Louie, of course.)
"What is that thing?!" Dewey asked in shock. It was about five feet long and had what looked like a giant spear for a mouth.
"That," Stanley said, also in awe. "That is the second-largest marlin I've ever seen! C'mon! First to get it skinned gets breakfast first!" You all ran to the other side of the deck and started skinning the giant fish.

"Oh, Standford," Stanley called, everyone carrying the fish on their shoulders.
"Ah, Stanley," Ford replied, not looking up from the skillet. "Did you finally fill up the net?"
"Well, sort of," Stan replied. Ford looked up from the pan and gaped at everyone holding the giant fish.
"How did you manage to catch a blue marlin?!" Ford asked in shock. "They're one of the fastest fish species in the world!"
"Wait, really?!" You asked, also in shock. "I wish I would've known that!"
"What can I say? She's good with a spear," Scrooge replied. Ford took a piece of the tail and chopped it up in the skillet. Everyone helped to skin the fish a little more, and you kept the spear-like tip of the upper lip as a trophy.
While you were eating breakfast, Standford asked everyone at the table a question: "Alright. Although I can get the dimensional translator fixed by myself, it'll be much easier if I have assistance. Does anyone here have experience working with hazardous materials, like chemicals?"
"Oh, I do!" You and Huey both replied at the same time. You raised your hands in the air.
"Ah, perfect! Huey and... I'm sorry, but I don't think I ever learned your name," Ford said, pointing to you.
"Oh, sorry!" You replied. "My name's (Y/n)."
"We're both Junior Woodchucks," Huey answered. Stan and Ford gave him a confused look. He sighed and explained. "You know, like a scout troop."
"Oh, yeah," Stan replied, breaking open a second bag of Toffee Peanuts. "Here, we call 'em Boy Scouts."
"What?" You and Huey both asked at the same time. Stan sighed.
"Never mind," He replied. As you quickly finished up, you washed your hands thoroughly and ran to the lab room with Huey.
"Have fun doing nerd stuff all day!" Louie called. You gave him an Uncle Scrooge scowl and shut the door of the lab room shut.
"Alright," Ford said, looking between you eager children. "Now, you may have worked with toxic chemicals in the past, but this one is certainly going to be the hardest. This is how we're going to fix the dimensional translator and get you ducks back to your home dimension." Ford flipped a chalkboard to show tons of calculations scribbled on what looked like very hastily. "We're going to be using something called NowUSeeitNowUDontium."
"First off, who came up with such an awesome name for an element?" You asked. He smiled.
"That would be my old lab partner, Fiddleford McGucket," He replied. Huey was writing the components of the new element in his periodic elements table in his Junior Woodchuck guidebook. "I already use some in my Quantum Destabilizer as ammo charge."
"Oooh, so that's what you were waving in our faces when we first got on board the boat," You said.
"Er-Yes. My apologies for almost blasting you into nonexistence," He said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Wait, what?" You started, but Ford continued.
"Anyways, we're getting off track. When it's visible, it's inert, but when it's hidden, it's highly radioactive," He said, pointing to a drawing on the chalkboard. "Hence it's name. What we're going to do is break down one of my charges with the element and wear it down until it's the size of a small pebble. Then, we're going to carefully put it in the translator. It should last your uncle for about 10,000 years. Follow me." You and Huey eagerly followed him over to a table, where the interior of the bracelet was showing. Ford handed you the charge and some hammers and sent you to work.
You thought it was going to be easy to wear it down. It turns out, it wasn't. After an hour of hitting it, you and Huey had barely even made a dent in the surface. You kept pushing forward, though, and by the time the day was over, you'd managed to make a small crack in the surface. Standford congratulated you both on the work that you'd done, saying that it wasn't easy. Together, everyone went up to watch the sunset on the deck.
"I'm not one for sunsets, but this is absolutley breathtaking," Beakley sighed. You all looked out to see it slowly sinking into the sea, and for the first time since you got to this dimension, you felt at peace.
