Katt struggled to stand, gripping the desk tightly she straightened up. Her head pounded and she wavered, blinking away the pain behind her eyes,

Her stomach tightened and ached, grumbling with hunger. The LED lights had gone out and the shed was dark. The door remained shut tightly and thin beams of soft orange light shone through slightly cracked blinds.

She took a breath and realized how stuffy her surroundings were. Dust floated in the little light there was and—

"Knock! Knock! Come on' Kathy you've been in there for hours!" Sam's annoying ass voice boomed from outside.
