Chapter: 3

   'Alright come on Thunder you can do this, it's been a whole week since you've been here it's time to make a friend'. As ThunderClaw trotted up to the cottage he shifted his wings to make sure the gift he had got was still with him. He knocked swiftly but strong and waited for a response, the door opened and on the other side was Fluttershy. "Hi Butterscotch, may I come in?". The small pegasus seemed as if she wanted to say no but she stepped aside to allow the other pegasus inside. The two sat on the couch and stared around for a few minutes, "It's a nice cottage," ThunderClaw said. Fluttershy nodded and continued to avoid eye contact. Eventually, Thunder sighed and handed Fluttershy the gift, the small pegasus stared at it for a few seconds before opening it. Inside were two necklaces, one had a pink butterfly and the other was a bunny. Fluttershy's eyes widened and she smiled slightly, for the first time today she looked him in the eyes, "Thank you."

"Don't sweat it, the butterfly one is for Angel and the bunny one is for you," ThunderClaw explained. The two talked for a bit before Thunder said his goodbyes and began the flight back to the castle. While flying he saw Pinkie Pie pulling a cart into Sugar Cube Corner, as if he was on autopilot he flew down and landed behind the pink mare. "Need some help?" he asked, Pinkie turned around smile and nodded. ThunderClaw pushed the cart into Sugar Cube Corner with ease and looked up to see Pinkie Pie smiling gratefully, "Thank you Thunder, I thought it would take all night to push this cart,"

"Anything for you Pinkie," he said as he prepared to take flight again before he could take off  Pinkie Pie stopped him. "Hey, stay for a bit," she said. Instantly ThunderClaw blushed and settled back down. He nodded and walked into Sugar Cube Corner and took a seat and watched Pinkie Pie unload the cart filled with apples. "Do you really need that many apples?" he asked.

"Yep! I make a lot of apple based sweets" she said. Thunder nodded and continued to observe the pink mare. He watched her small smile and her bouncing mane, he soon found his eyes wandering across her curvy body and down to her rump. 'I know Rarity is supposed to be the beautiful one but damn is this mare thick' he thought to himself. While Thunder was lost in his thoughts he didn't notice that Pinkie Pie had caught him staring until he heard her sweet giggle. He blushed a deep red and looked away from her, his wings were fully erect and there was no hiding that. "See something you like?" Pinkie teased.

"Maybe" ThunderClaw mumbled. Pinkie Pie giggled again and went back to cleaning and putting stuff away but she put a little sway in every step she made this time. 'Damn that mare' Thunder thought. After a while, dark started to settle in and Pinkie had finished cleaning, "I should get going before Twilight puts a hit out on me," ThunderClaw said.

"Stay the night, it'll be like a sleepover and we can bake sweets, play games and tell stories!" Pie exclaimed. Thunder knew he should decline but seeing Pinkie's smile melted his heart and his brain. "Um I think Twilight could go a night without me," he said walking back inside and upstairs.

Thud! Thunder fell out the bed and groaned. "Wake up sleepy head!" Pinkie Pie shouted. Slowly ThunderClaw got up and looked around, "What time is it?" he asked.

"Time for you to get up, Twilight's looking for you and she isn't happy," Pinkie Pie said fixing the sheets on her bed. ThunderClaw instantly shot up and started to panic, "Oh buck she's gonna kill me, I'm a dead wolf dear Luna help me!" he cried. Pinkie laughed and ruffled his mane, "Might wanna hurry up," she teased. Just as Thunder was about to fly out the window he stopped and turned to Pinkie Pie, "Did we um sleep in the same bed?" he asked nervously. Pinkie Pie winked and bounced downstairs to continue work. ThunderClaw gulped and took off towards the castle in fear of what to come next. As he opened the door he silently prayed to Luna that Twilight wasn't home. "Where have you been!?" Twilight practically screamed. 'Buck' "Sorry Twilight, I slept at Pinkie's," he said. Twilight stormed over to him,

"You're supposed to stay at the castle, you could be a massive threat. Not to mention it's super later in the day" Twilight said. ThunderClaw rolled his eyes, "I didn't ask to stay here," he said sarcastically. With this remark, steam came out of her ears and she grabbed Thunder with her magic and threw him out the door. "Come back when you've learned some respect and discipline until then get out and stay out!" she yelled before slamming the door shut. ThunderClaw got up and dusted himself off, 'Now I'm homeless, I should've stayed in the Dragon Lands' he thought. ThunderClaw trotted into town and decided to spend the day browsing the markets and talking to ponies.
