Chapter 1

Nova's POV (Point of view)

     I was walking along campus, scrolling through available apartments open for a roommate. I wasn't paying attention to wear I was going and ran into somebody. "Sorry!" I immediately apologized, rubbing my nose. "You're fine, sorry I was in your way." I looked up to see a pair of piercing blue eyes look my direction.
     I gawked at the Greek god before me. He had gorgeously blue eyes, dark brown hair and a very light browney beigeish color skin. His muscles filled his shirt, bulging at the seams. I recognized him easily as my high school crush. We had a lot of classes together, but I guess he didn't remember me.
     "I'm Alec, nice to meet you. And you are?" Alec stuck out his hand in a handshake. I slowly took it,"I-I'm Nova. Nice to meet you too."
"Oh, I'm trying to find a roommate. I'd really appreciate if you would take one of these papers, maybe show it to a friend or something," Alec explained, handing me a sheet.

Looking for a roommate. Two bedroom, living room, one bathroom, and kitchen.
Total rent: $400

"Oh! I've actually been trying to find a place. Do you think I could, like, come look at the place?" Alec smiled widely,"Of course! Follow me."
We walked across the street and down a few houses to a light brown house with dark brown roofing, reminded me of a cabin. "Wow, it's beautiful," I stared, following him up the stairs and into the house.
"Lemme give you a tour!" He stated excitedly," so when you first walk in, to the left there's a closet, for shoes and jackets. Up ahead to the right is a bathroom. If you pass the bathroom it leads into the living room!"
I looked around. The living room was surprisingly nice. There was a large fluffy rug on the floor with a nice wooden table in the middle, a large L-shapes couch surrounding it. I spotted a huge TV as well,"Wow, this place is nice!"
"I'm glad you like it! Now let's continue to the kitchen. Here we have the oven, microwave, fridge, island, sink, etc." Alec demonstrated, pointing to each component of the kitchen.
"Now, to the bedrooms. I already moved into a bedroom, but if you want it I can move to the other one." I was shocked, wow he's so nice! "There's no need for that, but thank you!"
He lead me to a large empty room with a big window, illuminating the space. "Ooh, it's very roomy. That's good. I have a lot of stuff," I laughed softly.
I could see Alec was very excited, he was practically bouncing up and down. When he saw me looking at him he stopped and said,"Oh hehe, sorry. I just really need a roommate. I can't pay for all of the rent by myself."
I took one last look at the house, scanning everything,"I'll take it."
