Lost Collision Course: Colton's Story

Colton's Past

One day, In a small house near the city of Bay Front. Colton was just working on a new project that has been eating up his time. Damian and Natalie went down to talk with him.

(Natalie) - Colton! Are you free?!
(Colton) - I thought you weren't!
(Damian) - Colton! C'mon out! We need to talk about something!

Colton opens the garage door and he was all messed up, not beaten up but......all oily and stuff.

(Damian) - What the hell? What are you doing?!
(Colton) - I decided to fix the G1 Yezla myself. The Mechanics at the shop refused to let me get service on it.
(Natalie) - What?! Why?! You're gonna make it even worse.
(Colton) - Its fine. *hops inside* Watch.

He tries to start it up again but it made a loud fart noise and smoke came out of the back pipe.
(Colton) - *slams his fist* DAMN IT!
(Natalie) - Well, What did I tell you?!
(Colton) - Says the Little Sister who never invited us! Her own family to her own wedding.
(Damian) -  I know You're mad, and I am too, but Let's not talk about that okay.
(Colton) - Okay, What do you want to talk about?
(Damian) - Apparently, Natalie never learned how to drive yet.
(Colton) - Are you Serious?!
(Natalie) - Its serious! Flora is gonna learn how to soon, and even I don't know how.
(Colton) - Its good that your hidden daughter is learning something that the mother doesn't. Maybe she can teach you.
(Damian) - Please! Stop holding this against her.
(Colton) - Sorry Dad. It's just.......*takes a deep breath*....It's been years since We've been a family. Like.....When I was 16, Natalie was 13, -
(Damian) - 12 years total. I know, You're 28 and almost 29, but please listen to me. Natalie wants to apologize for what she has done.
(Natalie) - Yes, It was my fault that made I those actions but it was my father who influenced my mom to influence me on having children. Zayn barely had anything to do with this. He was my first and now my husband, I wanted to apologize because I never knew how you would feel if I became a young teen mom. I may have neglected them for 9 years but......I never neglected family.
(Colton) - Then why be around me and dad? Your daughters and husband need to spend some more time with you.
(Natalie) - You cannot say that! You haven't found a girl yourself! No college classes, No Love for life, How are you gonna be successful like the Rest of us?!

Colton felt his heart sink, and he tried to not make it noticeable but Damian knew that feeling.
(Damian) - *holds his arm above her* Natalie, Let me handle this.
(Natalie) - *steps back* Okay Dad.
(Damian) - *heads to Colton's side* Colton.....You've grown up, ever since I met you as my fully developed child, things started to change within me that I never knew would happen. I loved your mother with all my heart but she was still fragile from the time I was tied to my own family drama.
(Colton) - Well Dad, Mom never really missed you, even when she was pregnant with me. I may not carry some of the blood that mentally ill man that raised me.
(Damian) - I know, and you're not related to Julius Concern. She told me that she was pregnant with you and then came Natalie. I wanted her to be my beautiful daughter that I can raise the best that I can. I see her as worthy of my Legendary Title but she doesn't want it.
(Colton) - Why doesn't she?
(Natalie) - She has a family now, She cannot always do hero stuff like she used to. Even if she is younger then you.
(Colton) - Though, If she did invite us to the Wedding officially, I'm not going.
(Damian) - Why not?
(Colton) - I'm jealous of her. She had kids already and I feel like it is too late for me. As soon as I fix this car, I'm gonna sell it and make money out of it to find what I can do for a living. Which I still haven't figured it out yet.
(Damian) - By the way, Where's your morpher?
(Colton) - It got destroyed. Remember the time you tried to help Zion recover from his Spinal Cancer? We all searched to find a Fast Cure and.....mine came at a cost.
(Damian) - Oh.....
(Colton) - I lost my power to morph and be a hero. I have people who look up to me as an Role model, I don't want to let them down.-
(Damian) - Don't worry, Ranger or not, You're my son no matter what. I made a mistake leaving you in that filthy man's care but I am trying making up for it.
(Natalie) - Hey Daddy! Aren't you gonna take me back home?!
(Damian) - In a Second! *turns back to him* You don't have to rush things when you don't have to. If you do now, then it will all fall apart. Take it slow and then Rev it faster, If that makes sense. I know you drove a Motorcycle in High school, Your mother told me.
(Colton) - Yeah, Tell mom and the others I am doing fine if they ask about me.

Damian left to take Natalie home, and he drove off in his Super Tezla, and Colton goes back to his room to shower and clean off. He looks at his High School Photo and remembers his Bike and a girl pal who knows her way with vehicles with him.
(Colton) - I wonder, Where have you been? If I get the wish to see you, I would take it.

Colton goes down on his small bed to nap for the day, and Two hours later! He then hears knocks on his door and Colton opens it up to see a woman in Blue and white in front of him.
(???) - Remember me, Colton?
(Colton) - (Oh shit! I forgot about her!) *remembers her school senior Photo* (Right this is-) Sage?! My god, It is so nice to see you again.
(Sage) - It is also nice to see you again as well. I was wondering when shall I just show up.
(Colton) - Why Don't you follow me on Insta? Everyone from school does- (Eep! I forgot that She is not so good with technology.)
(Sage) - Colton, Shall I come in?
(Colton) - Oh! Sure. C'mon inside.

They sat down and caught up. Apparently Sage got a degree in Auto-shop, plus she is a Part time Mechanic.
(Sage) - So, How was being "dead"?
(Colton) - Weird, like being a Spirit was not supposed to hurt but it did. Maybe it was because of my father's side.
(Sage) - Your father is a Barian Right? Why aren't you one?
(Colton) - I wish I knew, but Dad won't tell me how to unlock it. He never told me how he got his.
(Sage) - I know, it is because he as a human died a very long time ago.
(Colton) - How long ago?!- Wait?! How would you know?
(Sage) - One of my war friends told me he ran over a teenager 20 years ago.
(Colton) - He has been alive for that long?! Damn......What makes him fall in love with my mom in the first place?
(Sage) - Speaking of which, Is your mother cured from the Rainbow Wine Effects?
(Colton) - She has been much better. Not like I ever drunk any by the way. Natalie did when she was still in High school, which was illegal though.
(Sage) - Indeed. I want to discuss why I'm here.

Colton didn't like where this is gonna go from here and out, Sage is someone who always dragged him into some situations and now.....This one is no fun and games.
