From the moment (y/n) first saw Sirius Black, she hated him and Black could honestly say the same for her. (Y/n) is so irritated from just the mere thought of interacting with Sirius as Sirius would love to tease her. However, when (y/n) retorts back, Sirius would be equally annoyed, if not angry. Everyone knows not to mess with either of them when they're fighting because then, they would be at the receiving end of their anger and bullying. (Y/n) thinks that Black is only a guy with the looks, nothing else and for Black, (y/n) is the bitchiest girl he had the most unfortunate opportunity to meet. Girls love him and it annoyed Black that (y/n) does the complete opposite.

"Alone, (y/n)?" Sirius said to you after meeting you along the corridor after classes, "yeah, no wonder! You don't look like a fantastic friend. No boyfriend either, I mean, you're not really the lovable type, aren't you, (y/n)?" Sirius smirked at her as Prongs and Wormtail laughed. Remus only shook his head and looked at (y/n) apologetically. He already gave up stopping his friend as he knew he couldn't. Even with his position as a prefect, Remus couldn't force to stop Sirius to leave (y/n) alone.

Good thing is, (Y/n) was not offended at all. In fact, she's fuelled to insult Sirius more as he gave her a reason to. "I don't see a girlfriend, Black! What? Can't stay loyal? And I don't need friends! At least my parents love me! Do yours love you?" Now, it was her turn to smirk.

In the past, Sirius had been tolerant of her insults as they were pretty bearable especially coming from a girl but as he had real family issues that he told no one but his friends, he easily turned angry, like really angry. (Y/n) had just guessed this though. She didn't know Sirius's family issues but considering that Black barely gets mails during breakfast, it's not hard to tell.

Oh it's so on, Padfoot thought as he turned away, pissed.

Smiling triumphantly, (y/n) proceeded to the common room and decided not to eat as she wasn't really hungry.

(y/n) – 7

Black – 6

After dinner, when the Marauders came back to the common room, almost everyone knew what had happened and turned to pick sides. Of course, with his fame, Sirius had almost everyone at his side and (y/n) had only her class friends. There was a silent war going on and (y/n) insulting Sirius about his family just started everything.

The next morning, (y/n)'s happiness from the night before didn't last long. She had a very bad morning. Her robes were missing and it took her half an hour to find them. When she went to the Great Hall, breakfast was over so she wasn't able to eat. (Y/n) proceeded to her class with an empty stomach. Upon walking down the corridor to her second class, she tripped and slipped in the same damn hallway. It was as if someone was hexing her but there was nobody around. Or so she thought. Students in favour of Black were the cause of this. Sirius, of course, didn't plan this to happen but was pleased to see (y/n) in distress when she arrived at Potions.

"You're late, (y/n)! Detention!" Professor Slughorn said as (y/n) sat down, sighing. Padfoot smirked.

By lunch, (y/n) was starving so she raced to the Hall. Nothing troubled her along the way but as she was done eating lunch, she couldn't stand. Her robed seemed to stick onto the chair. She tried and tried but not even her strongest pull worked. She had no choice but to hex her own robes that caused them to rip. Students present during that time laughed loudly at (y/n) as her skirt was shown through. Embarrassed, she ran out and onto the common room, not attending her afternoon classes. By dinner, she didn't want to go down because of what had happened during lunch so she stayed in the dormitories.

Days passed and (y/n) still experiences the same problems – missing things, being late, tripping, slipping and her books flying and falling all of a sudden. She could handle them but they make her really exhausted. One morning, she decided to go with her friend to see if that would minimize the hexing.
