A/N:
Hi everyone,
I haven't logged onto Wattpad in about 6 years. I haven't really felt my creative spark in a very long time, so i have finally decided to try and give it another go. So here it is, the beginning of a new story. Happy for any feedback.
Considering updating some old fanfics as well, if you'd like that feel free to let me know.
Thank you,
Andy.

I am almost there. Three more weeks and only two exams left to go. I thought to myself as i pack my bag for the day. I have been studying almost four years full-time to finish my degree in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation.
"Noah! Time to go!" I could hear my mum yelling from downstairs.
"Mum, I am coming!" I quickly grab my backpack and run down stairs.
"Finally, I'm am going to be late if we don't leave now" I could hear the frustration in her voice,
"Well then why are we still standing here?" I asked, she rolled her eyes and made her way outside to the car.
This was our daily routine. My mum was always worried about being late for work, so she always arrives and hour early. Today only forty-five minutes early so this was considered her 'late'. On the way she dropped me off to the local train station. I drive, but parking is always an issue at the university so i like to take the train. It's only a short walk from the station to school anyways.
I just walked out of the train station when i could see my friend Tyson stepping off the bus. "Noah!" He came running over with his arms in the air waving to get my attention.
"Ty, there is no one here. You don't have to jump around to get noticed" I laughed,
"Hey, just making sure you see me"
"I can promise you, the five people standing around can all see you".
Tyson settled down and we started making our way to the campus. "So are you ready for the exam today? Second last and we are almost done."
I shrugged my shoulders with a small grin on my face "I am always ready for these exams, my 6.0 GPA proves it"
"Whatever man, you may be better in the exam room but i will always take you down on the sand" Tyson laughed, he was the University's beach volleyball star. No one could spike as well as him.
We finally made it to the campus and settled into our seats in the exam hall. There were at least one hundred students sitting in separate desks all lined up in rows with about a one meter aisle down the sides each other. The exam supervisors were walking down the aisles dropping our booklets in front of us and giving out instructions, no one was listening. It's always the same thing. No phones, wait until directed to start, first thirty minutes and last thirty minutes no one is permitted to leave the room and so on.
My test is runs for 2 hours. It is a closed book exam which means i'm working off memory and knowledge, i felt pretty confident. It wasn't long until we were allowed to open our test papers, and it honestly felt like the easiest test i had completed in my four years of study. I couldn't tell if this was a good sign or not. I finished my test just before the final half an hour, packed up my things and left the hall. I nodded towards Tyson on my way out, i could see the confusion on his face trying to understand the questions.
Once i made it outside the hall i turned my phone back on and sent Tyson a text.
Hey bro, heading home. Got a night shift tonight, see you tomorrow.
He will receive it after he's done.
I work at the international airport with my mum, but i wouldn't say my job is as busy as hers. Mum is contracted to airlines, fourteen airlines to be exact. She works as a supervisor which meant long days and busy shifts. I on the other and work for another contracted company that is contracted to hers. I push wheelchairs and assist passengers throughout the terminal.
I love my job, but the airport is so unpredictable that we almost never get to finish work on time. An afternoon nap feels almost necessary prior to a night shift. As i made my way to the train station i couldn't help but think about the kind of passengers i will get to meet today. It is never the same 2 days in a row working in such a busy environment, I have even been lucky enough to meet and escort celebrities to their flight. Though, i mainly push wheelchairs for those passengers with reduced mobility.
I have been working this job since i first finished high school. It was an easy first job as my mum is friends with my boss, but it opened my eyes to deciding what sort of path i want to take in my life. I have always wanted to help people and i was grateful that my job lets me do that everyday.
The loud beeping broke my train of thought, the walking man turned green and i started to make my way across the road. Suddenly, all i could hear was the loud screeching of tyres on the road and a woman's scream. Then it all went black.
