"Miss Carter, we're about to land . Please fasten your seatbelt and turn off all the electronic devices until we are safely parked at the gate"

Oh, thank god we're finally here . I was beginning to get bored. I turned off my iphone as the Pilot of my dad's private Jet said. Of course I'm travelling alone, as always, my parents are too busy to travel with me. They sent me from Milan to LA alone. I dont understand why we moved from Italy, Dad said something about investing in new business though.

You see , my Dad is a business man , he investes in any business, literally, and my mom is a fashion designer , has her own fashion house that competes with Dior and Chanel . My parents always get too caught up in their work to spend time with me . And if there is something that i want the most , it's to have a nice family dinner whith my mom and dad, like a normal family would, but i guess nobody gets everything.

As soon as we landed , I got my Louis Vuitton travel bag and Suitcase and walked towards the car that was waiting for me . " welcome to LA Miss Carter , I Hope You've Had a nice flight " the driver said as he opened the door for me, " Yes, I did. Thank you." I replied as i got in the car .

On the drive home , I turned on my phone and sent a text to Johnathan, my best friend back in Milan, telling him that I landed. I sat and thought back about my friends back home. Even though I'm American, Italy is my home. It's where I grew up and lived my whole life.

The car stopped infront of a huge white mansion that left my jaw hanging open , It was very huge with trees scattered around it beautifully . I saw the driver take my bags "I got them" i said taking them , "but Miss-" "I'm Dominique , and you are ?"  I said passing him a friendly smile "i'm henrey" "well henrey , thank you for driving me but those little things i can do on my own " i said giving him a friendly smile. "well if you insist . Oh , and here are the keys Mr Carter left you" he said passing me my car keys and what i assume are the mansion keys . "Thank you henrey , good night ".

I entered the mansion , and dropped my bags by the door . When I finally got a look at my surroundings, I was in Awe of the elegant interior and furniture . "Hello dear I'm Sandra, the house maid" i jumped at the sound speaking from beside me, I turned and faced the source of the sound and came face to face with a lady who looked like she was in her fifties greeting me with a smile that made me feel at home . "Hi , I'm Dominique " I greeted her with an equally welcoming smile . " go change hunney and sleep if you want and if you decide to come down you'll find me at the kitchen " "Okay thank you Sandra" .

I walked towards the stairs to find that there is an elevator , i chose to go up in the elevator since i was too tired to walk . I pressed the 2nd floor button and went up till the elevator stopped . I stepped from the elevator to find a large living room with a huge flat Tv Screen on the wall , I walked down the hall till i came to the first door to the left , and came to face a beautiful room , with very light brown almost gold walls , king sized bed. the wall next to the bed consisted of windows with a view of the beautiful back garden and the swiming pool , underneath the window there is a beautiful window seat  . I was amazed by the room.

Inside the room there were 2 doors one that led to an en suite and another led to a closet that was stocked with my clothes that arrived before with the other luggage .

I went to the en suite and took a shower and changed into one of johnathan's T-Shirts that I kinda stole before travelling. And as I inhaled his scent, I went to a blissful sleep.
