A/N: I have included my author's note at the beginning to disclose something really quickly: this is a song, and not a poem like the previous parts I've posted. With that said, this is the first song I've ever written, so be aware that it might not be of the best quality. I apologize profusely for that. It's not like Jack Antonoff tutored me in songwriting; give me a break. Now's where I end this author's note to let you read this for yourself. Enjoy!
[Verse 1]
Possession you've this soul,
Well you've covered this hole
Say, if it's you not amissed
By another, say I'll this:
[Chorus]
Will someone uncover thy beauty?
To bring yourself so snooty?
Ignore what passion conceived
To thee that's unreceived?
[Verse 2]
Tis' far, you haven't well fared
Or ere mingled with women's affairs
Who's to deny possible advantage,
So to that a question 's salvaged:
[Chorus]
Will someone discover thy beauty?
To bring yourself so snooty?
Ignore what passion conceived
To thee naught's received?
[Verse 3]
Why, thy attention's a mate to George
Simple to court but not to gorge
Foolish to involve sluggards, of that I'm wary
However, short distance 'tween us, it's scary
Never such closeness neared
Activating thoughts almost weird
With that, a question comes along
Tearing thyself up for time's-long:
[Chorus]
Will someone recover thy beauty?
To bring yourself so snooty?
Ignore what passion conceived
To ye not received?
Well, why...
[Outro]
Abhor what passion conceived?
Self-hate have had you deceived?
Alternatively, is it nay received?
Plentiful to doubt, justn't believed
That men's romance can't be relieved
Away you turn, though is received.
