I carried her through the backdoor and up into her room. Her parents were already fast asleep and the house was dark so it wasn't hard sneaking her back in.
The last few words she said before going unconscious still echoed in my mind.

Did she mean it? Was it only because she was drunk? It was definitely an accident. It had to be. But what if it wasn't?
I tried to shake these thoughts from my head, as I placed her into her bed. I couldn't stop staring at her face. It looked so peaceful and beautiful in the moonlight.
